In this video i'm going to be troubleshooting a random error that happens that keeps the computer from booting into windows. Not only am I going to show you how to fix this issue, i'm going to explain how you can determine if this fix actually applies to your specific Press F1 to run SETUP error.

Got a brand new build, that dang battery on the MOBO caused the monitor to now have any signal, took it out put it back in , now I can see the bios on the monitor. But I'm stuck at the Splash Screen , do I need to change the battery completely? Appreciate your reply.

What if I have a mini PC? I recently bought a beelink u59 and upgraded the SSD and hard drive as well as the RAM from 16gb to 32gb ram ddr4. It keeps bringing me to aptio setup asking me to boot saying "no media". I have a separate usb key with Win10 on it but the 512gb SSD comes with Win11 . Not sure if it matters but maybe it's the SSD?

Please help. My pc hangs at splash screen. On pressing DEL it shows American megatrend page with message Press Esc for BBS menu Initializing USB controllers....Done, pressing Esc does nothing it hangs there only. It does not detect HDD, cd drive, only 1 out of 6 usb working. Resetting Cmos didn't worked, Cmos battery is new. Pc starts two times, first for 2 seconds then off then switches on. My pc specification (pls don't laugh) G41M mother board Intel core 2 duo 1×2 GB ddr3 ram 1333 Mhz Seagate 250 gb hard drive.

so, Ive changed the battery but I still get put into the splash screen, then it tells me I need to set my bios setting to RAID mode, and when I hit f1 then save and exit it doesnt boot into windows, is there any reason wiy it does that?

Is it safe to keep continuing using the PC like normal till you get a new battery. I’ve been maintaining my normal gaming while wait for the battery and I’m just hoping it won’t cause damage

my issue is almost similar but my pc keeps restarting instead of being stuck, I had the same issue 5 months ago but i keept doing the steps you showed pressing F1 everyday untill i was able to access windows without pressing F1 now i'm back at the same problem and this problem came back because i unplugged my headphones and plugged them back on. any advice would be appreciated and thank you if you read all of this paragraphe :)))

On my computer if I don't boot it up after maybe 6 hours I will boot it up, and it will take me to the error message saying "WARNING: Please back up your data and replace your hard disk drive" But I have a SSD that cant be possible. Should I be worried?

So I've got a problem. When I boot up my pc the error on American Megatrends is "front fan failure" I had just recently taken my pc to the place I bought it from so that they would fix my gpu issues by warranty. Idk what the front fan has to do with the gpu but they might have broken something. It's wierd tho because when I open my pc up I see that all the fans are working just fine. Any solution?

I oressed F2 and IT does this thing, where IT says: "reboot and select proper voit device or insert boot media in selected voit device and press a key" And it does it EVERY TIME i try to tuen The pc off, and turn IT on again. And it won't let me go to The start screwn where im able to press f1

I seem to get this message every time I boot up and I have to adjust the time and date or else it tells me that everything is out of sync. I'll try and change the battery though. I have to say this is insane if this is the issue! Happy also that it could be a quick fix. Thanks for posting.

I have an EVOO laptop model # EVC141-6BK. The normal login screen does not show up, a black screen shows up first saying "American Megatrends" then prompts me to enter a password. I am unable to login, it keeps saying invalid. Help would be appreciated, thank you.

i need help please. my computer was running normal and then when i turned it on it showed me biostar boot menu or something. i don't even know what it is. i refreshed my pc so many times it finally turned on and let me use my pc. then it happened again so i changed hdd with ssd and it was working for a while but then it showed me the same menu and wouldn't let me go to windows. i click save changes and reset and it resets into the same menu, i changed the battery and it's still not working. i also tried putting my ssd in a laptop and it still showed the same thing on the laptop. on a different device. i can't use my pc what am i supposed to do? what is causing it?

If you press f1 and it won't boot, then your SSSD is toast. Buy a better brand. A good cheap brand is Silicon.

I installed an Aisurix rx580 in my computer and now I can't get past the bios screen. Can anyone help? It's a 2021 bios..I have a ssd of 1gb and a 500w 80 bronze power supply. I've tried everything except getting a new bios on a USB stick. Please help!

Changed out my battery. Only posts after I do a cmos reset. Even after the battery swap. :/ and it goes straight to this screen I do the same thing. But then when it’s shut down and time to start back up. No post 😩 been trouble shooting barebones for days now and Im really hoping it’s not my motherboard going bad. It’s under 2 yrs old

Probably not... Because the battery only use for saving bios settings... So if CMOS battery died.. only fev things happened but it's not have any issue.. 1. Everytime when turn on pc, need to press F1 2. BIOS settings reset to default (if you not customise any bios setting, then not problem) 3. System Time & date reset, but after computer boot, windows time automatically update, if you not turn off auto update time and date (because CMOS battery also remember time and date, when motherboard not give power)... So, Simply you can use your pc normally, without any issue......

My computer had American Megatrends was showing up for me, but I think it was a different error code. I had a usb over surging. Turned out that my micro USB was sticking more than half way out.

@@steinerikgarciamoe5945 hey ! It ended up being a RAM issue I disconnected my sticks and reinstalled and also installed a new version of windows. Works now ! Hope this helps
