One of the hardest things to do as anglers is break down a new body of water. This is one of the top questions that I get and so I decided to make a video series devoted to this one thing.
Not only do I believe that I will become a better angler because of this, but I believe you will too!
BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

Hey bubba if fishing was easy they wouldn't have tournaments because everyone would win. You gave it ago and this time the lake won. Keep your head up and may the sun be at your back and the wind in your face.

As someone who has casually fished for a long time but just started to get serious about bass fishing, it's such a great reminder that even the seasoned vets struggle at times. When you landed the first and thought you might be on to something, and then nothing... story of my life.

I like that you posted even if you didn’t slay it on the water. Too often do KZfaqrs only post when they have amazing days. That sets most people up for disappointment. Not only that, you kept your spirits high and didn’t give up. You analyzed what happened that day instead of saying “I don’t know what went wrong”. Learning from a day on the water is critical to improvement. Good work 👍🏻

Your videos have always been next level, providing a ton of content in a good amount of time. The editing and post is icing on the cake. Favorite part? When you failed! Haha, it's nice seeing that even professionals like you don't always meet your goals. At least you hooked up on 3, I probably wouldn't have found any if I were in your shoes.

Honestly my favorite part is the end keeping your courage and confidence up it's hard out there I've been hitting it pretty dry spell on fish these past few months and my confidence has gone down that's my favorite part of it no one that you got to keep your courage and your confidence up, and stay focus that is the main key to catching bass

My favorite part is when you said this is what fishing is really like. Couldn’t have said it any better it’s called fishing not catching. It’s all about those moments when you actually successfully catch a bunch of fish is what makes it all worth the while of going and putting the time into it.

My favorite part of this video is the fact that you failed to reach your goal but made it and let it realistic. In my opinion television and other KZfaqr’s are starting to ruin the real expectations of fishing - catching on every cast, or catching 50lb bags, etc. Thanks for keeping it real.

I like this idea for a series. It's great to see your process and strategies for breaking down a lake. My favorite part was when you mentioned how pinch points are obvious, yet great places to search for bass. I'm not fortunate enough to own a bass boat, so I do a lot of bank fishing. And bridges are my go to, especially in the summer when they provide shade. Keep up these style of videos, Tyler.

This is going to be a great series. Can’t wait to see the other lake breaks!! Favorite part is the realness of the whole day. Far too many times we experience the struggle of finding the bite and it’s reassuring that a great angler like yourself does have those same struggles AND you’re willing to share them as a teaching moment, not only to the benefit of viewers but to yourself as well as you perfect your own angling prowess. Thank you for teaching us all Tyler.

The on the water videos are always better content when possible as we like to see techniques in action, even when the fish are not cooperating. Love how You keep grinding. This happens to me all too often and I get depressed and leave. It seems to me sometimes it doesn't matter what I threw at them they hit and are easy to catch. Great that You show that it happens to You and can happen to anybody. Thank You Great Content ALWAYS !!!

Tyler, I liked the fact that though the fishing was tough you kept grinding all the way until the end. I think it’s a great lesson for us to keep fishing, keep moving, because you never know when you are going to land on two 5 pounders and get your planned limit. Thanks for the great video content!

I appreciate the fact that you show the failures as well as the success. I learned a lot about working a creek for bass. I am new to the sport and your help is greatly appreciated.
