Use a air compressor to blow the dirt and debris out of the ecm connectors before attempting to remove them

Other instructions are not saying to disconnecting batteries after reading stock ecm and removing it. Do you think this is necessary?

I had my truck tuned and had nothing but problems. After being tuned I put new tail lights in and took it to the dealer to have the BCM flashed to accept the new tail lights. Then I went back to the tune shop for its 4th revision. While hooked up to the computer while doing the update a warning came up saying it "Timed Out". Now it is completely dead and the tuner shop is saying it is my fault for putting new tail lights in. He has had my truck for 44 days now and every time I talk to him its a new reason on what happened. Now he is saying I need to pay for a new ECM and program. I have talked to a few others and have had all of them tell me he messed something up and it has nothing to do with the tail lights. I was wondering what your input would be? Thanks!!

Any ideas when I just to do the read part, I get a message saying it cannot interface? The OBD two port is good. We tried it with a scan tool. It has power, so not sure why it cannot read.

Hey so i just got a 2017 silverado lp5, I want to fully delete it, egr,def etc.. How do i start what should i order? do i need to send out me ecm? just kinda stuck

Hi Denny Diesel, I had my 2020 Chevy L5P tuned and deleted, but I was ran into some issues. I have still have the Factory ECM on hand and Thought about re-tuning the HP Tuners ECM. The New HP ECM did not record my Vin number, and my truck was showing permanent codes, so I contacted Sunny Diesel they remoted into the mechanics laptop and then they had to change the tune but it kept indicating a the fuel injector code and a key code so Sunny Diesel lock those codes out, my truck runs great but i have a concern that the truck will not let me know when something is going wrong with it. is there something that I can do to correct this. could you contact me?

Why not tune the factory ecm M’y truck is tune with the facory ecm but the ecm has been modifed ?

I did my Ecm swap and sent my file out and noticed my engine light is flaahing when the key is in the run position do you what that means?

Can I still delete my 18 l5p? HP website right now says they don't have ECM anymore and can only reprogram mine but takes 8 weeks to get back. I found an ecm that I can buy from AC Delco . If I send that to hp can they tune that for me. Try not to lose my truck for 8 weeks

Why not just do a Gale Banks tune. Much safer and you won't void the warranty.

So I'm guessing a data plan won't work guess I'll have to move to somewhere with better wi-fi since where I'm at it is garbage

you didnt tighten the battery cables. never program without making sure electrical is 100%
