Hey I found that using a toroid transformer or a gamma match to feed the mag loop I could get it working across an “octave” of Spectrum, say from 7 to 14 MHz. Or say 10MHz to 21MHz I’d move the gamma match or add a tap to the feee transformer to match the new impedance at resonance What you’ve got there allows you to tune for resonance / maximum smoke and match the impedance. Nice. I found once I tried to extend down below half the top frequency, the efficiency would drop off significantly That said. I like the construction of the flappers. Especially with the fender style knobs. I wanted to make something similar to tune my coax mag loops with the coax stub capacitor. Might go and revisit the idea DE VK2NAP dit dit

So the outboard tuner is in the feed line to the Q-Match and adjusted after tuning the main loop to resonance. Is that correct
