This channel is pure gold, I'm glad I found it. I'm trying to learn Blender and for some things it's just overly complicated, while with TinkerCad the same thing takes half of the time and often with better and cleaner results.

That service Online Convert is still up and active in March 2022. With that free utility and these instructions I am getting quick results for little effort. The only steps I use to prep for printing are the SVG files usually have to be reduced to less than 50 percent for importing to Tinkercad in my case, and I arrange some kind of thin background layer or a few stripes at a lower height than the logo to keep individual letters or parts of logos connected in place for adhesive application, just like on plastic emblems applied on vehicles. I'm very pleased to have found these instructions.

Hi good morning I have to ask you a great favor. I really like Tinkercad and I don't find myself with any other program. I did a drawing of mine more than anything else a project done in the shape of a L-shaped. More or less I will explain you in broad terms practically I gave you the example of the letter L because the project is already finished but from the longest part we say about the I would like it make a straight bend. With Tinkercad, can I turn? Or should I redo the design but curved?

This was an awesome instruction video. I understand it is 6 years old now. I wish you would do the same video now with the updated version of Tinkercad. I don't have any of those menus on the right hand side and can't seem to find the same information anywhere. Granted, I'm an "old" person when it comes to computer use.

As someone who uses ai and vector images in my work I will only add that you should think of vector as an image trace. Don’t use images you find online with lots of colors or gradients this will make the tracing look messy and not sharp. Make sure the image you want to use is a solid color at a hi resolution for the best results. I am also 2 hours into figuring out tinkercad so this will make my life much easier for highly detailed designs.

CCT, is there a method for going the other way? I've created a design in TC (a rectangle with square holes in it) but I would like to print the object in 2D on Graph Paper to see how it will look and to check my measurements. (BEFORE spending multiple hours waiting for the 3D print to finish and only then finding out that something is off-center or unbalanced! LOL) Is there a way to do that? If so, will it be accurate to the final 3D print?

Its for a friends pencil sharpener that he has had for a very long time like over 40yrs and the company that made them went out of business. I would greatly appreciate it.
