on a phone it says when you turn off active display you cant see other users online. that's true. but on a pc you can lol love it everything is grey out but the names stay there and pop up and pop out when they go online and off offline lol

I've done this and my friends can still see I"m active. There is something we are missing.

I dont know what you're talking about. In the image at 1:14, it shows the home icon ( a house ) and other icons at the top of the screen. It also shows three horizonal lines to the right, correct? On my iphone, that menu appears at the bottom of the screen and the three horizonal lines are not there. Instead i see the word Menu. Problem is, when i click that icon, none of the options you refer to are there on my iphone.

You need to turn off the website face book as well, if you have any active status on anywhere you are logged in then you can still be seen. I have both app messenger and website messenger off on iPad and iPhone. I have the app Facebook on iPad and iPhone turned off. But I cannot find how to turn off the active status on website Facebook.
