Good handling. Turns well. High stability. Good ride comfort. Poor ride comfort. Good/bad NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness). Good/bad traction. These are common phrases used by car magazines and automotive critics. But why do these differences occur? I have explored this question in order to deepen our understanding of driving and improve our techniques, and the joy of understanding it in our bodies through driving has become my humble pleasure. In this first part, I will divide the components of driving into five categories and explain them. Among these, I will categorize the most difficult to understand suspension geometry into four categories and explain them. I hope you enjoy reading it.
