While I see myself as a libertarian, I kind of cringe when you say 'liberal views'. I don't have liberal views, I'm a libertarian. The whole point is I don't give a shit what you do if it doesn't affect me. Another point being that when people say 'land of the free' America has to earn that title, and they don't get it by putting out more regulations and limiting free choice.

19:50 I'm a libertarian, so that makes me "bias", but I would put libertarians/classical liberals at the start, not the end. I think they're the philosophical and historical foundation of the right (and everything that's good on the left). But "socially liberal/fiscally conservative" is a terrible definition. When I hear Gary Johnson say that it makes me think he doesn't even understand the philosophy. If I had to highlight the most important contemporary libertarians for this list it would be Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell and the Mises institute, a VERY important writer and former Reagan budget director David Stockman, financial analysts like Peter Schiff, Jim Rogers, Marc Faber, and my FAVORITE right wing podcaster Tom Woods. Woods does a great show with Bob Murphy called Contra Krugman.

While we were busily making progressives lives a living hell by exposing their corruption and hammering them over the head with their own ill-chosen words, those who should have been supporting us were sticking their noses in the air, like this fight was beneath them. Gamergate was where the progressives were finally fought to a standstill after years of almost perfect successes. And it was gamers who did it, with almost no support from those with whom we shared a common cause. The Right should be embarrassed to have missed such an opportunity due to their own arrogance and hubris.

+Marz10 Gamergate was not a Conservative movement but still achieved goals the Cons could not despite not really trying. I know of no one who loves God & guns & America more than our hero of Canton but what Alec Baldwin coined & championed went far beyond him. Gamergate put arrows in the knees of the Left & stole their sweet rolls. But the division on the Right is the point of this video - not whether either McInnes or Baldwin is smarter or correct. That neither care what each other thinks is I believe a beautiful thing.

Come back when you have legal documents. How the fuck do people not realize that illegal aliens are breaking the law? Why should they be treated different than any other criminal's? So let's look at the candidates. This old senile communist fossil comes along and says, "Vote for me, and I'll make sure you get whipped at least 40% more! I was a nationalist when I was young, then I travelled a lot, turned into a liberal, and now I am a right wing libertarian. Took me a while before I admitted that I'm in no way on the left anymore. I can't believe Stefan Molyneaux was not somewhere in this list. One of the most smart and consistent guy I've ever listened to. I'm also pretty upset that David Duke didn't make an appearance. Don't care if you disagree with him, he's a big name. Ron Paul should also be there, he's one of the guys that really brought Libertarianism into a new light. Just look at what the left calls "far-right Republicans in Congress" and then you find them listing the likes of Mike Lee and Justin Amash, when those are the most libertarian people in Congress. Libertarians are the most pro-capitalist than anyone on the right, and many like myself are very pro-life. Just because we want weed legal or don't want to carelessly spend on the military, that doesn't put us on the left. Libertarians and socialists are archenemies for god's sake. Conservatives are our allies.

On the one hand, he did admit that he became a conservative before he became very religious, and stated he has no issue with us "Godless heathens" being in the mix, but on the other hand, his Zonation series has always felt extremely heavy handed on religious rhetoric. Hard to say if I like him or not as a person, though I do appreciate his style.

Pro-life, Wanted to End the Fed, IRS, welfare, DEA, pretty much 90% of the federal government. Wanted to cut the most spending anybody has ever proposed while running for president. Pro-states rights, constitutionalist, Christian, and the most fiscally conservative guy that ran in 2008 and 2012. Hmm so he doesn't want to start a bunch of wars on te other side of the world so I guess that eliminates him from being a right winger. Republicans pre-Bush, actually used to believe in most of the shit Ron Paul is about.

Oh yeah, Stefan Molyneux is another big one and while he may not define himself as a conservative, and is a Libertarian, his incessant untangling of left-hypocrisy and his work in clarifying all things Trump certainly reserved him an honorary seat if nothing else. Savage seems to be the Yoda of grass roots conservatism. When I first heard Savage say that others copy him, I thought he was full of it, but now that I follow him, I see it regularly. It's sad how he is treated by the pinky-in-the-air conservatives.

+Man Up or Get Out Exactly and would have been someone that was conspicuously absent from the 'Libertarian' group. He's also from what I can tell a race-realist, so all the better in my view. And he gets it with Trump, and had to point out with amazement how Thomas Sowell was emoting about his dislike of Trump, all of which undermined everything that man has said on economics for years. I am in total agreement with your assessment of Michael Savage. He has been at the forefront of many things, Borders, Language, and Culture was something he was pushing since he started. It is only now that most seem to have caught up with him, especially those other talk show radio hosts that completely ignore him. Granted, most still refuse to identify that these things are more important than practically everything else -- without these things everything else will be meaningless.

I would definitely consider myself as a 'factual feminist' and quite possibly, an 'Islamophobe' (not because I hate every individual Muslim that exists, but I don't like radical Islam). And I am a 'factual feminist' because I think that some of the 'Intersectionalists' and people from the 'far left' are as mad as cut snakes, but still agree with alot of the things the old-school feminists and old-school Marxists say (and sometimes people need a hand up and not everyone can pull themselves up by their own bootstraps).

Mark Riddle Liberation through technology friend, Trump is the only right winger who has a hope of winning the US election. I hope he's different if he wins but who knows. People say since the 80s he's been against the Globalist agenda lets hope he hasn't changed. Nigel Farrage through is someone I look up to who has strong nationalistic values. In Australia, we had Tony Abbott who was fairly nationalist but he's gone now, betrayed by his own party for trying to do some good. When the Syrian war happened, he stopped Suni Muslims from migrating to Australia which saved us from ending up like Europe. Of course his party betrayed him because he ensured we'd be safe from an Islamic takeover. If only we could have a purely technocratic party that would pursue technological development and advancement and to evolve society rather than this destructive corporatism that surrounds modern day government especially the US government.

That was excellent - I learned a lot, thank you! I'm actually a centrist. I used to call myself a liberal but after seeing all the SJW / regressive left stuff I reevaluated and found that my views were actually centrist anyway. I'm sure a lot of people are being pushed away from the left at the moment. One small criticism is I don't think it's good to put black people in whole separate categories! Your list not mine but, you know what I mean! Seems best to ignore race and just focus on the individuals. But yeah, overall very good :)

Gavin, I love your videos, but I don't see why you didn't include Stefan Molyneux on your list? He has pretty many listeners, and not too long ago he made a great series of videos with e.g. Bill Whittle, whom you named. Stefan's overall content is in my opinion high quality philosophical discussions about rather serious contemporary issues.

+Lee Jae-tan Because he's a Canadian cult leader that has no influence of American Politics. If he was making a list for Libertarian philosophers who can tell the difference between what is and is not an argument I'm sure he'd be there.
