BIT OF AN UPDATE FOR YOU ALL - You can buy Lamented Items from the AH if you want to save yourself time on RNG, however atm they are running around 1 million per piece (on my server anyway). - Lamented items are class restricted to be cleansed - so if you're a DK and you want dreadnaught, you'd need to obtain the shoulders on a warrior and cleanse the item on the warrior to unlock the plate mog appearance.

Kinda wild how rare the Lamented Crusader pieces are. I just wanted to finish off the chest and head of a set; I've done naxx on 25 chars this week and only gotten the chest. It seems like I was lucky to even get that. Forget the gold, the Lamented Crusader pieces are the real gatekeeper

Yeh I haven't set out to get any yet myself, as I've been buying the patterns for crafting and then I'll likely obtain all the glacial patterns next. But I've heard it's brutal RNG

Thank you for this guide. I completed my Paladin set and I’m at 5/8 warrior set. I can craft the undead metal as well. It’s fun farming this. I have 63 alts and almost all are level 70. So, it’s not too hard to farm pieces for me.

Dammit, I was turning in invaders scourgestones during the last two videos. Guess I'll go back to the dungeons - gives me an excuse to farm for baron mount

Most welcome! Haha yeh I do honestly think as a few months pass it'll get easier and cheaper to find people to craft the purification items. Which will probably work well for a lot of people trying to earn the gold and get the drops from the Lamented Crusader RNG anyway!

I think you said in your prior video you have to use the new portal, you can actual fly to Naxx northrend it’s the same place

Hey mate, yeh it's zoned as Naxx in Northrend so that doesn't surprise me! Good to know though, I didn't know if that was the case, I didn't mention it in the last video, but there was a comment asking about it, which I shall go and update now, thank you!!

Everyone talks about the 2.8mill for a full set of t3, how much does that work out to per piece? especialyl with how often the cloth drops while rng'ing for the pieces, I already have 23 cloth and no lamented pieces

@@Darkmech Thank you! I did the dirty math it feels like 560k for head/shoulders is the most expensive and the rest dawdle between 140k and 450k Feels like WoW tokens on dead servers is still the move if you're not a billionaire from selling boosts

hey, quick question : So i've unlocked naxx got the grapple hook, took the quest from the vendor guy inside and now I need 20 invading scourgestones but they don't drop for me anymore ( i have the trinket equipped ) and it seems it's because I'm revered now with the argent dawn? Any tips how to resolve this? Corruptors don't drop for me either

I'm revered with AD and exalted on my warrior and getting them, that is giga odd. Invaders should drop for OG scholo and strath you're not getting any and had the trinket equipped in there yeh? Zackett Skullsmash has an option to turn scourgestones off, maybe check if you accidently hit that selection when talking to him would be my only guess mate. Let me know how you go with that.

Is there any point for classes that weren't around at that time like DKs?

So as a DK I can wear the warrior and paladin tier 3 that I have cause the class restrictions were removed with mog - it's just plate armour. However, on the lamented pieces, I'm not sure if it still has the class restriction on it to purify. I'll do my best to chase this up and then update you =)

@@Darkmech that worries me. I was ready to just say it's too much work for too little but if I can wear warrior t3 then I may have two do this and hunt down a veteran. I've been playing since classic but my guild never got to naxx

Ok, so I reached out to a friend who has 2pc Tier 3 now. The lamented items are CLASS restricted, so for Dreadnaught for example, you'd need to cleanse the item on a Warrior and once you'd done that and learned the appearance, you'd be able to mog it on DK/Paladin etc.

@@Darkmech Oof! Sounds like a lot of work. I think I'll try to get some stuff started and just wait for more people to unlock their tier 3 so I can put in a work order.
