I know this video it old, but it helped me immensely. My EKPMS module overheated and I bought a replacement. I was able to drive the car without coding the module, but I did not like the way the car shifted and at certain points, there was lack of power. To avoid any damage to the fuel pump or CATs with potential excessive unburned fuel, I needed to code the module. I checked INPA for the EKP module number (7276383) and I noticed it had another VIN number assigned to it. I followed your tutorial and I was able to successfully program the module and add my VIN to the module. The key is, you need the SP-DATEN files. I was able to find the most recent Daten files, 7.0 and 7.1. I believe they stopped updating the Daten files at version 6.5, but anything after 6.5 will be the same, which will work. Used BMW Coding tool to update NCS Expert, EDIABAS and WINKFP and pointed WinKFP to the latest SP-Daten files. Thanks for the tutorial! There aren't many videos that explain in detail. hello friend i know im here a little bit years after but i need your help, i have a bmw e46 2002 318i n42b20 engine, but i noticed that the modules was changed, the ike cluster and the light module lcm has the info about a 330ci and different vin, so the abs module as well, and the ews also i remember, how can i get all modules in order? looks like only the gearbox has the info correct, with this tools can i do it? i tried to code with ncs expert in expertmodus the abs module but dont show in the list to code, i have been seen a lot of videos of abs module coding and by now i can coode the module, so i need to code this and the other modules, because i have some error codes frecuently, the car starts run go and come good but i want it all in order. thank you if you can help me please. thanks

Just stumbled onto your KZfaq videos... subscribed and ordered your INPA cable from Amazon… My 330ci recently had the cluster go so I bought another from a wrecker but now had these warning lights appear even though I had none prior to the cluster change. My small cheap OBD2 scanner shows no codes so I had a BMW repair guy (not the dealer) scan it and he said there were some after-market component changes that the car didn’t have registered as OEM but he didn’t know how to clear them (the emergency brake light runs yellow). My questions are, can the INPA software: 1. Clear the error lights (ie: change program for registered components)? 2. Reset the mileage dot due to cluster change? Many thanks, Joe

Or what i have to do to make it able to code side markers one tap option.. since lsz.c35 cant do it..

Nice instructions. I followed your instructions , but when I go up update ecu in winkfp, nothing shows and the list is blank. I had to change airbag control module under the glove compartment and steering angle sensor. Do you have any suggestions? I appreciate it.
