I might need to re-download it after the betas. AirPlay is a real struggle at the minute with the RC release. Devices are not found or go missing. See what happens later 👋🏼

Hey Brandon! Did you notice any keyboard lag in the iOS 17 betas? I participated in the public beta and up to this point I am still experiencing keyboard lag when typing longer texts... After the third or fourth line in iMessage for example, the haptics and the animation for the keypresses seem to be behind for like a full keystroke... It's really annoying.

I’m trading this phone in as soon as my 15 pro gets in, I usually wait on updates due to stability issues/bugs that come through (typically wait for the x.x.1 version). I don’t think I’m going to update right away so that I know I’m working with a fully stable iOS version until my new phone comes in

Hey, Brandon, in a recent video you said there was no reason not to update to iOS 17... so I did. I've now learned that the ability to use custom text tones has been removed. 🤬 Do we think this is something that will be restored and "undone" by Apple? I don't want to use Apple's common, crappy text tones. I'll never understand why they jack with stuff that isn't broken. Makes me wonder what else they've done that I just haven't realized yet. Thanks!

I had a bug on iOS 17 RC where when you changed notifications settings they wouldn’t change. I would go in the settings they would look changed and I’d go back and it would be the same. I was going through all of them at the time. Is this still an issue?

@BrandonButch, Just one thing to note, is that Apple only lets you stay on iOS 16 for a couple months and then they will force you to upgrade to iOS 17. This has been the case for a couple years, ever since Apple has allowed you to stay on a previous version of iOS. I have experienced this with my iPad, as I'm still running iOS 16 on it. I've tried to check for new iOS 16 updates, however now it's only letting me upgrade to iOS 17. So just keep that in mind and maybe you should make a note to mention that for iOS 18.
