Hey would you please post some test about the read/write speeds? i want to upgrade my laptop with a pcie SSD like you did but i've read some posts where people is having trouble to get the full performance of their SSDs, something about the lines that the pcie bus is using or something like that. that would be really nice. thank you

why can you not have the 4RAM + 16RAM. instead 4RAM was removed.

Now I use 32GB Ram. 16 + 16. The 4GB RAM of that laptop was plugged into the other 4GB laptop. 4+4 = 8GB of the other. You can use 20GB Ram. 16+4.

hi I have a dell 5570 8th gen core i5, 8gb ram, and 1tb HDD... my laptop says that no intel optane memory modules were detected in your computer . and I cant even see any other memory apart of my 1tb HDD.. please help

Can you do double check 256gb or 512gb? As far as I know, the 860 m.2 series is known as 250gb and 500gb. Samsung M.2 is just M.2 SSD, Not NVMe. so SSD Up to 256 GB and NVMe Up to 512 GB. It would be nice to pull it out and put it back in the slot.

I checked on the separated slot number of pins of my ssd nvme port and it showed 4 pins. Is there any particular model of m.2 nvme ssd to fit on my unit? Most of the available do have 5 pins. Thank you

Idk does this laptop support nvme (because it doesn't have any nvme controller) but installing nvme runs at a speed of m2 ssd. Can we install 16gb with 8gb keeping it intact and not removing it!!

What kind of RAM memory have you just extract? I mean, what's the developer? I'm interested into buying that notebook. Can I just combine 2 same speed and same sized memories from different developers to work in dual channel? i.e.: a 4Gb 2400Mhz Crucial memory combined to a 4Gb 2400Mhz Kingston memory for a 8Gb dual channel config?

Company is Patriot Memory. You can use different developers with same speed. it's best to use the same company, the same clock, and the same capacity whenever possible.

Sure, you can. I use NVME SSD as booting C: and HDD for big data as D: If you look at my video with the laptop disassembled, you can see that the HDD is still on the bottom left.

There are 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports on the left. No USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type-C) port. It is optional.
