In this video I will show you how to upgrade and install the latest compatible macOS on your old MacBook Air Apple Laptop. I'm using a Mid 2013 MacBook Air 6,2 with macOS High Sierra and I will update the macOS up to Big Sur 100% FREE.

My macbook early 2014 has the macOs X running on it. I've tried signing into my apple account but the apple website isn't opening on it. Gladly I found macOs big sur on my launchpad, and after following the process to install ,it still won't install. All I see on the screen is "macOs Big sur will be installed on the disk "Macintosh HD" ". Please help.

This really helped because I just got my computer fixed and they had to wipe everything on it. When starting up it was on macOS high sierra and I thought I would have to get a whole new computer even though I just got it fixed. But, this video helped a lot!

If the update is supported by Apple is for a reason, they won't allow an update that will make the laptop slower, it wouldn't make sense.

Can you skip forward to the most current version of iOS or do you need to jump one step at a time to the next OS? I was on Yosemite but I read somewhere to go to El Capitan first and then go to the next one etc

I had my MacBook Air 2011-2013 of 11 inch on the restart page in OS X utilities after r+cmd but after erasing the disk utility file another video said to erase it said to reinstall OS X but it is saying I can’t reinstall it since there was a required download missing. 2017 you can install Monterey. Do a backup before.
