Quick question... why is it that the maximum element size is 0.7mm minimum? I'm trying to do a high resolution relief and my CNC can do 0.1mm precision. Is there a way to achieve that?

Glad you liked the video! You can apply textures to assembly components using the same method. You just have to ensure you are in edit mode for the part in question." Unfortunately, we do not have a video showing this done in an assembly. Though it is almost the same process as shown on KZfaq.

Check the "Convert this texture to 3D" option when creating the texture to make the texture solid geometry. Then the part will print with the texture you've defined

So annoyed with literally every one of these tutorials. I have Solidworks 2023 and I literally dont have the 3d textures in my appearances tab. I keep trying to figure out how these guys are getting the textures from but no site or video actually covers that.

Mine is under Appearances(colour) / Miscellaneous / 3D Textures - do you have the list of preset appearances?
