The amputated part should not be put directly on the ice like what you've shown here in the video this will cause more injury to the amputated part

Hi there, if you watch it again you will see and hear from narrator to place/wrap the amputated body part in a sterile gauze and then place it in a bag with ice. The body part is not in direct contact with the ice. I agree that ice can damage the tissue and it's not recommended. The treatment that we provide in in sync with Red Cross and international first aid guidelines. Hope this clarifies. Write me back if you have any more questions, comments or concerns.
