Hi. The hot air gun that you are advertising has a very strong problem - within the time of use it's airflow decreases up to 50%. So this airgun becomes less efficient. Hense can be recommended as the brst.

I have the same station and manage to desolder analog stick from dual sense\PS5 controller at my first attempt but 420C degrees at 42 airflow was a bit too much. I have a lot to learn.

I have the sugon 8620 dx but am having problems when it comes to reballing ic, I even bought the 3d stencil but balls don’t form the stencil just deforms anyone with help and what to use for reballing

Great video my only comment would be that all hot air stations are a little different based on the age of the heating element and quality of the air pump so the biggest tip is get to know YOUR hot air station

All air gun is good if the heating element is good and soldering and desoldering components depends on the experience of the technician. If the airflow is high chances are small components will fly away.

Yep, makes a lot of sense. It seems that also partially why REWA covers up other components with the kapton tape to prevent unnecessary melting. Also, I have seen some videos regarding removal of excess solder and it suggested simply blowing it away.

why the nozzles doesn't have a funnel shape for a good air flow ?

It wouldn’t make the air dissipate as evenly, if it were a funnel it would focus it on the center of the chip, it would however be good for resistors and capacitors

How do you can change Wind type (turbine) by changing nozzle? And why do you cannot make the same at 861DW? They confused me with the video.

Hi, the nozzles of SUGON 8620 are specially designed to achieve switching wind type by changing the nozzle while 861DW is not equipped with this kind of nozzles.

It appears that the difference is the nozzles, I hear about this and from my experience as long as you have a hot air station with the blower fan in the case and it has nozzles available you're good, and small components are easy enough with my atten st862-d. I use the bent nozzles the most but on really large chips I use the biggest nozzle. I don't have special nozzles but if atten made some I'd try them, maybe the idea is to keep the small parts from blowing away.

I have it too, bought on AliExpress. It cost me extra £3 to get 3 angled nozzles and 2 helical (non-angled) ones. Depends on the seller whether helical nozzles are available I guess.
