How to use a Karcher FJ6 foam cannon with a stubby gun. The Karcher K series bayonet fitting on the Karcher FJ6 foam lance does not fit into the 1/4" quick connect fitting on a stubby gun. This video shows how an adapter can be used to connect a Karcher FJ6 to a stubby gun and shows how the foam cannon can be quickly and easily connected and disconnected in use.

👍👍👍. I live in a rural area with quite a long muddy drive. I've lost three vehicles because of rust due to the mud sticking to the underneath. One of the most useful accessories I use is the Karcher chassis cleaner.

the link for the stubby gun has an adaptor with it...will this make it fit the FJ6 without the separate adaptor you mentioned in the video?

It sets itself when using any attachment other than the vario lance

Hi I have bought a stubby gun for my karcher washer and attachment for use with karcher foam cannon. The problem is the water is coming out between attachment and the cannon . What am I doing wrong

It's difficult to say without seeing your setup but, when you push the foam cannon into the adapter, push it in as far as it will go and then turn it a full 90 degrees before releasing. The lugs on the foam cannon should fit into the top of the elongated L shaped recess (looking towards the back of the foam cannon). If you don't turn it far enough the right hand side of the lug will rest on the corner of the L and you won't get a seal between the adapter and foam cannon. Another possible cause of your leak is the brass collar on the stubby gun. Ensure that this is fully engaged (forward) when you fit the adapter to the gun. Good luck 🤞

I will be making a video review of the stubby gun in the near future which will show that it works really well with my Karcher K4. I've not encountered any problems so far. I bought the Autobrite QR gun and nozzle kit from Euro car parts when it was on offer at £25 and consider it money well spent 😃
