This worked great for redoing the shower/bathtub of my kid's bathroom. kzfaq.infoUgkxfiuHoZJo3bgdVPFRxQ-iqPpfbEHl2cYt I didn't like the guide, so I took it off. I just used a fine tipped sharpie on the tile and followed that line. It does make a wet mess, and once I started looking like I wet myself I started wearing a towel and apron while cutting. The blade it came with worked great until we wore it out. It was better than the replacement one we bought. I tried looking for just their blade, but failed. Not really for larger tiles unless you stack stuff on either side to support the tiles. Anyway, would definitley buy again.

Leah - once again you have saved me from a padded cell. I'd never done tile before, and you're the only person who mentioned "you only need one pass of the blade". Now my manual tile cutter is working as expected. Thank you! and Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the tips. I like the way you explain it in your videos. I started 6 years ago - saw your video on drywalling when I purchased my first house. I didn't want to live in the dorms or rent so I purchased a fixer upper. I went to college, went to work and on the weekends worked on my house. Saw many of your videos to help me along the way. In 2018 I ended up selling that house for almost triple what I got it for, and I now do flipping full time. I don't do the work anymore, but I still come back time to time to teach myself when I do work on small projects here and there. Thanks again, and cheers!

Excellent video. I love the fact that you explain things so well. I watched three other video's 'men' showing how to use the tile cutter and they did not have the detail that your video did. So I had gotten discouraged and kept putting off finishing the job, then I found your video , EUREKA !!!! not only do I know where i was going wrong but I now am excited again about finishing my job. Thank you so much had I noticed that there was a video by a woman I would have watched yours first Im now a subscriber to your channel and will make you my go to place for instruction of this kind in the future. Thanks for the great video, I was using my new manual tile cutter wrong (starting at the wrong end and not getting good results). I was reading to chuck it out. But now I see what I was doing wrong and it doesn't take as much effort as I was exerting. First time tiling and was beginning to think I should never have tried to do it by myself. Now I am so happy to have been able to do it and have the floor look good.

I would like to thank you 1,000 times. I am a retired chef who knows nothing about DYI home repair. I am replacing a vanity in a bathroom. Of course there's no tile under it. I needed about 8 tiles cut. I was going to buy a diamond wheel to cut tile, attach it to my drill and try that. I didn't want to rent a machine for 8 tiles. So, I watched this video and I bought a manual cutter. $45 at home depot. It was PERFECT for what I needed. Thanks again. Many thumbs UP ↑.
