I'm working on it. I figured out how to make sounds with it. Trimming the call helped a ton! Thanks for the advice!

Good video man I am kinda like u said at a stand still with my calling and have been trying to get better for a while trying to get that high note is hard for me I have heard a lot of people say that now I thought I was the only one

Jase Outdoors use that uvula. Like gargling salt water when you have a sore throat. Flutter that ball against the back of the tongue. Fluttering the front part on the latex is harder for me. Lol

Season hasn't even started yet and it's killin me! Friday I'll hit NY but it's supposed to be ugly all day. Then next week I'll hit PA pretty hard. Can't wait!

Jase I’m learning how to use these and was wondering if you had any tips for getting it in the correct spot every time?

Hmm, tough one. You can bend the frame of the call to fit the roof of your mouth better or cut the material smaller so it stays in the same spot. Otherwise I think it's getting the hang of it and it'll happen.

Yep, u can cut, but take very little off at at time. A small amount makes a big difference

Damn, wish I had found this page long ago. Your comment is 3 years old, you're either really good at it now or gave up 2 years 11 months ago haha. So, this goes for anyone, definitely dont start out with a 3 reed call. 2 is even less than ideal. Get a single reed call to start with, it is very simplified theres only one sound to get with it , a clean yelp , nothing more. It'll still call a turkey in on a good day. But that is absolutely where you want to start. This guys videos are awesome, the Knight and Hale guy is really great too although he pisses me off because he makes it look so easy, sounds I've never even heard before. 🍀
