Hey Mikey, Yeah the disc/wheel RPMs need to be more than the angle grinder RPMs or the disc can explode basically, it's really dangerous. Thanks for commenting

For example my angle grinder is 12,000 RPMs and my cutting disc is 13,800 rpms

Subscribed. Looking for more videos on angle grinders. I wish there were titles on these thumbnails for your videos so I could find more angle grinder videos without having to press play on each one. You do speak pretty quickly but by replaying your videos I can make sense of it. I appreciate what you have done here. I'm a single Mama on my own and I'm learning how to do a lot of things that a good man would do if he was here, I'm glad that I can learn these things, but I wish I didn't have to. Anyways, I appreciate your content!

Great job. Not many people mention the rpm ratings for the wheels need to be higher than the tool.

I use to be a grinder! I advise everyone to use safety glasses !Even recommend doubling up on glasses. Because those sparks from grinding can burn through your safety gear and go directly to your 👁️.

My dad had his lip split in half by an angle grinder disc when I was a kid, the company he was working for wouldn't allow guards to be put on the grinder for some reason. I assume the blades were cheap. He used angle grinders his whole life but it only takes one failure. His lips all good now tho. Also the company got in big legal trouble.

I just bought a cheapie warrior harbor freight for leveling 3/8 inch concrete 5 inches wide and 4 ft long to get rainwater flowing into a sump pump, you think I should give the Grinder a 15 minute rest and cool down after every 5 minutes of grinding

First off, wear proper PPE . The grinder should be able to run for more than 5 minutes. Listen to the motor,if it starts whining or starts to bog down, let off it a little. Thanks for commenting.

It depends on what kind of work your doing. However 115mm/ 4 1/2" angle grinder is your most common size. I would go with 115mm. Thanks for commenting

I hate angle grinding my tee joints perfectly flat so i can weld without gap lol then again im 1 month into school so im guessing it will come more naturally with time

What should a person expect to feel when the wheel first touches the bolt? You did that very smooth. For someone who is doing this for the first time they need to know it's going to grab and jerk.

@@templebuilderscarpentry7043 I bet most people don't even know the RPM of their angle grinder. Those thin steel cutting grindwheels are brittle.

@@fathercadiI think you're right most people don't know about their grinders RPMs. I think the grinder is more dangerous than the circular saw. My next short video is going to be on angle grinder safety, I should have made it the first video.
