If this is occurring only at the start of the stitch in the back tacks then it is quite normal. If it is happening during the whole seam then I'd say your top tension is not working as it should, you will need to make sure the thread is completely between the disks and then tighten the top tension till it looks right.

Thanks for the feed back but this channel is not really about how to actually sew anything, it is more about how to use the machine itself as a lot of people have no real understanding of how to use the programming inside the machine. We may one day do some practical sewing videos but at present we are more presenting videos from a technician perspective and teaching people the machine operation.
