Thanks for putting this up, been in this house for years and didn't know how to use the timer as no explanation when I moved in; even tried the pegs etc but didn't realise there was a third position on the switch for timer so have just left it on 1 and used the thermostat to turn it on/off all this time! You're vid really helped! :) Looking forward to a warmer house to get out of bed to in future! :)

Thanks, really helpful - especially because Baxi's were recommended by heating engineers, but not enough about them on the web from the company yet. Also good tip relating to where to direct the condensate pipe to prevent it freezing in bad weather.

Bled the radiators and the presure gauge came down .reset the boiler and all sweet, but couldn't get hot water, adjusted the water tap presure and now it's great I needed to know what other ppl had their water temp on. Thnx buddy.

Baxi duo-tec and Platinum are the best boilers made over the last 12 years in my opinion. i have fitted lots of them and never have any issues.

Thank you, had one of thee boilers installed yesterday, heating dial only shows temperature range 10 - 30 degrees centigrade, not 20 to 80 as in your video, hence radiators are only luke warm. Installer said it was probably just the plumbing on the heating system. I have now phoned Baxi, explained the problem and they are sending an engineer out. Your video help me determine there was a fault, thanks for posting. Tim.

Hi I have the same boiler. Baxi duo tec combi 24 HE A. The only problem that I have is that I have to open the hot water tap in the kitchen or toilet sick half way through in order to get boiler hot water indicator to lit and then to kick on the boiler to heat up the hot water. So it is a lot of water waste. So it it possible to get it adjusted so if I open the hot water tap a little that the boiler kick on the burner to heat up the water?

Hi mate. Have this boiler but today I have hot water but no heating at all. I've raised the pressure slightly as it was a little low but still hasn't sorted it. It isn't showing any error code. Can anyone offer any advice that may resolve this issue as it's bloomin cold and I already have pneumonia which I obviously don't want getting any worse. Thank in advance.

Copied your heat settings on my identical boiler,turns on the hot water tap and the temperature went beyond the 49 degree setting to just over the 63degree heating setting ! Why ? Also the central heating light was off as it should be. Just the hot water light and burner light on when I turned the tap on. Any ideas ?

if you get one of these boilers before the end of december 2017, baxi give you a free 7 year warranty. i've just registered my new duotec and have the 7 year warranty all set up. by the way, are your settings fine for both summer and winter months? or do i need to adjust depending on season? cheers

I have this boiler and have a question. I have been turning the boiler on and off when needed in winter but I was told not to do that but to use the thermostat instead to turn heating off is this true? I am just worried if I did this it would still be using gas as the boiler would be set to heating and water. I am confused!
@cocorose99072 жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for a very good explanation.... can you please tell why I can’t get hot running water? But getting hot radiators fine? Be very grateful. PS I have exact model as this. Thanks
