Kim, I love your videos! They are so easy to follow. Would you consider making a video on the best way to choose an svg to cut out for cards ie: what to look for, what not to choose? I'm new to Joy and am loving it!! Thank you!!!

That card is really cute! I definitely want to try this. I would love to see a series like you mentioned. Everything you do is so helpful! I also love that you are using the Joy. I don't see very many videos that use it and it is the only Cricut that I have. Thank you!

Would love to know if you have figured out a way to make the cutaway card BASES also, including what type of adhesive sheets would work on them. I know I could just use liquid glue to glue on inserts after cutting from plain cardstock, but that would be VERY tedious with some of the intricate premade cutaway card designs.

Hi Kim, thanks for taking your time to explain. I have my Cricut Joy just over a week and I have tried to make the cutaway cards myself, but I think the adhesive is too strong. Would love to know what material to use. So much to learn still...

Hey Mirjam! Do you mean you're trying to make the card kit yourself, instead of buying the kit? If so, I typically use the kits for these type cards, but I make a ton of card kits myself so that I can have lots of pattern. I LOVE pattern. Hi Kim - Ohhhh I LOVE this card - but what I don't quite understand is that the Cricut cut out the circle above the house, but how come it didn't go through and cut the paper behind? I know you didn't want it too but I am amazed it didn't go through? x

Hey Linda! These are Cut-A-Way Cards. The card kit is a little different from the Insert Kits. I did love making this one and the kits are fun! Happy card making! I have another video in my series coming out very soon! 🩷

Hi Kim. Just getting into card making. Can I ask how you attached the blue insert to the inside see through insert card? When I glue cardstock, usually it shows a bit on the front of the cardstock (like an outline of the glued area if that makes sense). Did you use a spray adhesive? Love your videos. I'm learning so much! Thank you.

Hey Judy! I have used spray adhesive, but I personally LOVE glue dots. There is a brand called ZOTS. amzn.to/3Jhgv7Y They have small ones I use for things like this, and then larger raised ones that are fun for cards because it gives that raised effect for details and embellishments. New to your channel and loving your tutorials! Very new to this, im Having a few issues though. Every project I do my machine mangles the card, or whatever material I am using. Any idea what am I doing wrong?
