I do love GtG. He is the best for start of season tile taking and farming. However, I do find that after midgame he becomes mostly useless except against WKs, and he becomes a draw machine. I do not have a high geared GtG though, so maybe I am not getting the full potential out of him. Anyway this has actually helped me improve him so maybe I'll get some better results. Good video!

nice vid! With the new elite troops gandalf is really strong for pvp now. I do a solid 200k to 400k damage every time. Also a tip: do not focus on gear to counter wk. His r5 is enough to one shot him with minimal losses. Overall i find men units best for him, because most of his best in slot gear buffs men unit or ranged. I run sharpshooters + wos hunters + cataphract. U can swap wos hunters with Dale Watchman or any other ranged. Overall u want to buff your ranged unit with gear as much as possible. The healing from the Grey is really low and mostly not worth it, allthough sometimes u need to put points there because r5 is useless against a specific enemy.

And Evil Men are overall a struggle for Gandalf. U cant really counter them. U wont lose big, its mostly an draw in the favor of the one with best gear/lvl. Best u will get is a draw slightly in your favor against a Khaldoon, unless Khaldoon is far undergeared.

So funny to see so many familiar faces in your reports :). I‘m right now building up someone, I’d like to test in the near future, would you be down for a fight with your Theoden? Just for Gandalf the only thing I’d consider to do different is for the gold chestpieces. I think the rangers shroud with elemental protection is great and even better than the quilted armor or the superior Hauberk.

The best videos available for this game by far ! I have a question : why using the horseman helm ? Arnor helm has the same effect and more focus for exemple. Thx !

Horsemens helm has Resolve and Warding to switch back and forth between the special effects. Fighting vs Sauron you will need Resolve. Versus WK you will need Warding.

@@FollowAzra thx ! And btw, when you switch your equipment, the respect attached is 50/100. And i thought when you did this, you need to put it again to 100 to benefit the special effect right ?

@@FB-vo3mc When you have imparted wisdom to the commander (in the tavern at the weapon master) you no longer have to grind it from 0 to 100. Instead it becomes 50/100, whenever you re-equip an item.

Appreciate your kind words mate. The order in which I do GUIDE videos depends pretty much on how fast I can gather reports of a commander, which is why I can't realy make promises but keep your wishes in mind. But dont worry, sooner or later I will cover all viable commanders.

What do you think about the Grey Wizard Hat on him ? I strengthen this helmet 3 times and refine and I wanna know if à should stop or not. I also put the Golden Skin on him. What do you think about my build? Thank you.

Gtg is a CONVENER commander. That means you want to ensure that he gets those first hits in in the first 2 rounds. The biggest issue he has is army madness (nuking himself with convener in the first to rounds) or army stun (can't attacked twice per round if you are stunlocked). Therefore you need a helmet with AEGIS such as Hunter's Guide or The Casque of the submerged Isle to allow convener to work without being CCed. Grey Wizard Hat is much better for GtW who isn't relying on convener.

wouldn’t hunters guide be best option with aegis, it gives +attack also

Giant Hammer (Frenzy) would make sense for Dwalin. For Gandalf I'm not sure. You have seen my reports in this video with it, right? I didn't notice a big change for Gandalf. But maybe this was because of the Special Effect "Frenzy"... Gandalf could use another effect called "Rend", which reduces enemies Defence by 18% once fully refined. Maybe that might be worth getting but still I'm not sure. Giant Hammer works for Dwalin but the Axe of Khazad-Dum (Cleave) might be even better for Dwalin. Whom do you want to give your Giant Hammer?

Gandalf is already good at Respect 1. With Respect 3 he gets more CC and with Respect 5 he becomes a WK counter. But the more Respect you give him the stronger he becomes. If you wanna main your gandalf it's totally worth investing only on him. Although he will become a draw machine at some point, which doesn't mean he is bad. He is holding his ground at least.

I think bone mask with madness effect is way better than horsmen helmet.

If you're on RP you're not getting his full potential, need alchemist for crazy anti WK damage. On my server one of our teams Mates won with hardly any losses against two WK and sauron in one hit, (with GtG might build with hammer)

I will cover Saruman in the future. Right now I have him at Respect 1 and I need him at least at R5 before I can share my experience. But I can tell you this much - Saruman works best with R5 build. I wouldn't use him with lower Respect level.

Ty so much i have the shadow kamul lurtz and gorbag and saruman. Right now im using saruman with r 1. Lurtz and gorbag. Should i change to the shadow or kamul? Saw your videos und the shadow and it looks cool!

@@cigergunturk7541 If I were you, I would focus on Gorbag and Shadow. Gorbag with the right gear and with "Orcs only" is S-Tier in my opinion. Shadow just gets ever stronger the more respect he has. Shadow can deal Physical, Poison, Focus and strong Normal damage, he is just covering it all. His Respect 10 item is the best in T2 Commander category.

@@cigergunturk7541 im not recoment saruman until he is R5. R1 is just okay but it just average. he loss nearly every fight agianst meta built until R5 army buff.
