Thanks again for another solid video! I'm finding something odd though, I'm trying to search for keywords in a religious niche and it keeps coming back "keywords removed", is Google blocking keywords for religious niches?

🤔 I'd recommend doing some searches to see if others have seen the same thing... That's a touchy area when it comes to Google

Hey Jason, Regarding keywords that we choose at the Ad Group level, I wonder if I should add all the nearby towns in my region as keywords? So for example we have a HVAC business in Silver Spring MD. At the campaign level I used the radius option and selected the 20 mile radius of silver spring as my target location. Now under ad groups I wonder if I have to list all of the towns and cities within the area under one ad group? if so that would mean that the number of keywords within an ad group would exceed 3-7 since there are more than 7 towns and cities within our service area?

can i somehow set up a bid adjustment so that conversion keys get a higher bid?
@JasonAWhaling
@JasonAWhaling 3 жыл бұрын
You can; once you know what keywords are worth it. So you can either increase your CPC manually when you have a winning keyword; or create a new campaign with that keyword(s) and try CPA bidding. But only do that after you have a few hundred conversions.

So here's how I would recommend doing it: 1) Stop your campaign. Radius targeting is easy to setup but it's hard to see location based data 2) Redo it but this time use the exact zip codes you want to target. 3) Create an ad group for each town/city you want to target. Use phrase match/exact match only 4) Create another campaign; targeting the same zip codes with keywords that don't have any city names in them at all. This will allow you to see how plain HVAC keywords compare to those with a city name attached to them. Hope that helps

Thanks for the tut, Jason. But how should we work with KWs that are removed from GKT but obviously they are workable? (I see ads are showing up when I search G for these terms). I mean how to analyze their possible CPC, traffic, budget estimation? (besides obvious 3rd party tools as I doubt in them being precise especially when it comes to know whether you will get any clicks for a specific CPC set)

If you do a manual search and see competitors bidding on that keyword and it's relevant to your offer then go for it! The keyword planner isn't perfect and it's okay to try keywords that the planner doesn't show or projects low search volume. In terms of your second question; you can try entering that exact phrase, but it's best to just throw it a campaign and see what happens a few days later... Even if you get no clicks, Google will start to tell you what the first page bid needs to be 👍

Fantastic content 🔥 just a bit confused because in your previous videos I’ve seen you bid something like $2.50 per ad group. So I guess the question is how can we expect to get any clicks on keywords that are said to be $17 when we’re only bidding $2?
@JasonAWhaling
@JasonAWhaling 4 жыл бұрын
Great question! For the tutorials I start at the lower number since I dont' have a way of knowing peoples niches... With match types and a real campaign Google will tell you the actual cost needed to be on the first page after a week... I like the $2.50 price point to get that data, then I tend to increase budgets to match the keywords... It's not a science at all.

Hi Jason ,I had watched your previous videos on Google ads. You said that we had not to choose keywords between 10-100 scala because advertisers were using or biding over them.
@JasonAWhaling
@JasonAWhaling 4 жыл бұрын
You won't know the true cost of a keyword until you actually run a campaign; so it's okay to bid low on a keyword you think is too expensive.

Can a negative keyword kill (conflict) with a normal keyword? Here is an example: Keyword = "Digital Marketers in Orlando" Negative Keyword = Digital Marketing jobs in Orlando
@JasonAWhaling
@JasonAWhaling 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's possible for the negative keyword to kill your keyword. In your example, use Jobs as a broad match negative. That should take care of the searches you want to avoide

I don't understand how people can hire agencies on PPC if search traffic is that low? I want to learn and start offering Google ads as a service myself, but how can I justify someone hiring me if I can only get them like 20 clicks a month? I don't understand Jason...
@JasonAWhaling
@JasonAWhaling 3 жыл бұрын
The traffic is very dependent upon the business and the types of keywords being bid on. These examples are for stretching a tiny budget... You can always get more traffic with Google ads
@yantheman1280

So if I get an estimate of 10-30 clicks a month for my client in the plumber niche, is that a reasonable amount of traffic? I really want to start my agency targeting plumbers, but I don't see how the numbers go up if I'm gonna charge them 1k and so few people click... If you could give me your perspective on this you would help me soo much..
