I added the web cam app to my Mac and tried to connect to Zoom and it is still not working. The Icon has the blue circle on it. I clicked to see preview and the window opens and closes. Are there anything else that I can do to troubleshoot this problem? Everything is fully updated and restarted. I even switched the cable connections.

As of April 30, 2023 FaceTime does not see my GoProHero 10 Black on Ventura 13.3.1.

I can't seem to get this to work yet for my brand new gopro hero 10 and macbook air m1. All my software is up to date and I got it working between my iphone 13x. Any tips? My mac seems to be not recognizing it as plugged in at all. I'm using an apple dongle to convert c to usb. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Thanks in advance.

@Mindful Monday Meals Thank you for the great question. I know what you mean, you click on the app, and it doesn't seem to open any windows or any sign. It works. Try the following. Connect the GoPro to your MacBook Air. Open the GoPro WebCam app. It will not open any windows. You need to Check the upper Tool bar where the time, date, wifi are located. On the left side, you should see icon of GoPro. Right-click on the icon and choose show preview, and it should work. Let me know how it goes. I wish you the best of all! 🌟

@@LevinsReview Hi, I am having the same issue as Mindful Monday Meals. I have my MacBook Pro 14in and my brand new hero 10 with the latest softwares and I am unable to click preview on my desktop while my camera is plugged. Ive tried multiple cables: usb c to usb c, go pro wire with converter (to convert usb a to usb c, and different branded wires. The camera seems to be recognized every time by displaying "usb connected" but I still cannot use it as a webcam. Please advice.

I also did want to mention, when in the video where you enabled camera access on system presences, I wasn't able to see my go pro web application on my system presences to enable my camera access. Thanks!

@@ajaykanda4910 After 3 phone calls with GoPro tech support on the same case, I was told in writing to return it and purchase the 9 black. I did that and it works seamlessly. It's a bummer the newer ones aren't compatible though.
