Inventory module in Odoo 10 is the easiest way that you can opt to handle product inventory level in company and maintain stock of product.
This also allow you to crate purchase order directly using the sales order by "Run Scheduler" at different duration of time.The scheduler can be run manually or also automatically at fixed interval of time to trigger the automatic purchase or manufacturing of product as required.
Inventory module also facilitates to run reordering rule creating purchase order automatically as the stock reaches to its minimum level.
This allows Inventory Adjustments easily at one click by going to Inventory module - Inventory Control - Inventory adjustments - Create - Click on Start Inventory (fill the required).
Following the below steps you will understand the inventory module.
1. Create Sales order and Confirm the sale.By clicking on Delivery tab one can know the delivery the same transfer can be seen in Inventory by going to Inventory module - Dashboard/ All transfers (associated Sales Order).
2. Reordering Rule is created for the product by setting the minimum and maximum stock level.This rule can be Run by going to Inventory module - Schedulers - Run Reordering Rules while SO is created and the stock reaches to its minimum level.
3. As you run the reordering rule it will trigger the PO by creating the quotation for the product associated with SO.Confirm the Quotation and to confirm the PO and receive the product by validating the purchase.
4. Click on "Run Schedulers" to create PO for the SO which doesn't have enough stock to deliver the product in SO.
Clicking on "Run scheduler" one can generate RfQ for the SO for the product in Sales Order.

5. Go to inventory Adjustments to check the Inventory level for all or single product or group of products. Click on Inventory Adjustments and create the inventory and fill the credentials.Start Inventory,you can also set quantities to zero if needed.
6. GO to Reports and Stock moves...
Select the move and going to top right clicking on tab for bar charts you can see the graphical representation (bar charts, line charts) of the moves created.
