In this #atlassian #jira video, I am going to show you how developers can use Jira to improve their communication and accountability. Jira has some neat features to help developers gain more insight into their work. Perhaps the coolest feature is leveraging Git's integration with Jira. This allows developers to stay within their world of software and still communicate back to their stakeholders.

No, but without a source code repository, you wont see anything. The Development field is just a field. Maybe your admin has it hidden or not on your screen?

As long as you reference the Ticket number in your PR/commit, whatever, Jira will track.

Yeah. Jira gives you the command syntax.

As much as i found this useful, i am quite surprised that you used the whole command to name the branch. You should ideally run the command from your command line and then push the newly created branch to remote and then refresh JIRA. Am no expert but what you did is weird
