Hello I have the A class a220 and when I go to setting it shows the camera software but it says it was disabled it there a way I can activate it..

I have a 2020 GLC 300 and it seems I don’t have this option. Is it possible to retrofit it on existing builds?

I currently have a 2021 GLE 53 on order to include Augmented Video Navigation. At the time of order the Dashcam feature was not available. Today I see it is a $200 option. Will my GLE53 be able to have a DashCam feature? If so, how can I get it. The dealer can't add to order, too late in the build. I did look at your video and you mentioned a "properly equipped GLE has the Dashcam incorporated in the MBUX system. However you didn't get detailed as to what if any other equipment I would need other than a thumb drive. Please advise. Dennis/Arizona

Hello, I cannot view the recordings on the screen. I've had my MB GLB250 2021 since Feb 2021. I find it hard to believe that it needs to be turned on every time the car is started. There is so little usable information about this dash cam anywhere on the internet or manual to be found. Even customer service at MB knows very little about the dash cam on how to use it or troubleshoot it. Do you know why I am unable to view my recordings? Thank you for your help.

I own a 2021 GLC300 4Matic SUV that came with the DA5 - Multimedia Package and DP1 - Premium Package. And because of these packages it's equipped with a dashboard camera. Unfortunately I don't have the "DashBoard" setting under the Mercedes me & Apps option. I was wondering if the dashcam can be enabled via some software update or by some other means at the dealership ?

Just bout 2021 I don't have the app? Is that something I can get them to instal?

I have a 2021 AMG GLC 63 SUV with dashcam and all the recordings are blank. I'm using a sandisk drive to record the dashcam video and when I connect to my Macbook the recordings are blank.

Once set, will the car automatically record every time you drive it? Or you need to prompt it to record each time?

My 2023 C 43 AMG will not recognize a 1TB Drive. It sees a 32 GB SanDisk formatted in exFAT.

They need make it 24-7 servailance they slack do much I using xentry and notice going upgrade any thing needs they have rear camera dash cam in c Xentry for c118 but no option weird any one know ? No market I see supported

In my 21 E350, it does not record automatically. You have to start recording yourself every time.. It only records in km/h, there is no option to change to mph. Dealer does not know how set it up either, it's too new in the US.

I’ve been realized that the dashcam has to be reactivate every time when you turn on your vehicle. Anywhere I can set it to be automatically turn on?

Paid for the Dashcam app, now trying to get my £200 back. Appaling in my opinion. This is not a dashcam it's just a 720p video recorder, no automatic starting, number plates impossible to read less than 4 metres in front of camera. Very disappointed.

Problems with MB dashcam, - You have to manually turn it on every time you start your car - Dashcam is not available for the first 20-30 secs after the car is turned on - It splits the recording into small 1.5m videos - No sound - Terrible Video quality ( cant see a license plate on the car in front of you) - Only front camera records So save your $200 and buy a real Dashcam, not garbage one

If you do not get the $200 dash cam item from the manufacturer, then you cannot get the dash cam, the Dealer can NOT add it. Not sure why they cant add a software based feature. Also, do you seriously have to activate the dash cam every time you turn on the car??

Seems like you can't record behind so pretty useless, big shame.
