Those are some good looking irons and great tips for use. It's definitely important to make sure you hold them at 90 degrees.

It been some time since your last video. You encouraged me to try making leather goods, so you can imagine that I've missed your vids. Thanks for what you've given already, hope to see more of your works in the future.

With french pricking irons I use a piece of hard 3+mm or even 4+mm of leather as a pad and standard cutting mat underneath

Regarding sliving tools, would you suggest using a Shapton stone? They go anywhere from 2000 to 30,000 grit and are often used in woodwork plans. They won’t work on the inner workings of the teeth but will prove excellent overall

I just watched your video about the pros and cons of the Techsew 4800 and found it very useful. Still, I'd like to hear more about the machine being made in Canada. Those in the US often throw in the "made in the USA," so frequently it's boring. For me, knowing that you live in Canada and buy goods made in Canada is long overdue. Wave our flag more often.

Hey David, the techsew machines are made in China. I’m not sure there are any sewing machines made in the USA or Canada. I think any machine is either made in Japan, Germany or China.

If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success.

I bought a set of the first picking irons, I'm a big fan of all your work, and I treated them like cristal, with all the care they deserve, but now two of them have crashed the tooth, is really sad, I love how they look, but it quality is really bad
