In Australia we call them passionfruit. I have them growing on my property. The possums love them! We make pavlova, top with creamed and passionfruit on top. Another recipe is sweet pancakes topped with the passionfruit.

In Brazil we make mousse with it as well! It’s delicious… you mix one can of condensed milk, one can of heavy cream, one or two passion fruit and some gelatin to help with the consistency. Mix everything in the blender (save the seeds to decorate the top afterwards) and leave in the fridge for 2 h until it becomes firm. Delicious 😋

They're my favorite fruit! We call them "entsulashi" in my native language. I'm from a small state called Nagaland in North East India and each tribe will a different name for it because we all have different dialects and even among those tribes, the different villages and clans might also have very distinct variations. Our fruits are also tart but there are some kinds that are really, really sweet. Whenever they're in season there's a chance you might come across some that are sweet as sugar (no joke! No tartiness at all) There was also a local ice cream company that made passion fruit ice cream popsicles. They were rare to come by but so worth it.

I usually just eat it straight up but I definitely want to try mixing it with yogurt. I love passion fruit.

In Bangladesh sometimes we call it Anarkoli or Tan fol which (passion fruit). We enjoy eating it by adding black salt and green chill to the extracted pulp and eat it. It has this salty spicy and tanginess to it. Just fry it once and I’m sure you will love it. My mouth is salivating as I’m writing this xD

Where i live its called Maracuya and its used only in desserts and juice i've never tried it plane but even as juice its really flavorful

My mom is chineese so over the summer, we went to china to go visit family and friends where on the way we had to stop in Taiwan. We tried so many passion fruit desserts that I loved so much and brought so much passion fruit flavored desserts and teas that we also made passion fruit yoghurt. It tastes really good when missing the fruit

I live on Oahu and we grow lilikoi in our yard, my mom likes to make lilikoi butter and lilikoi jam it’s great on toast and with many other things. i think you try it out (i recommend lilikoi butter though) it’s not that easy to make but it’s so worth it.

Here in Indonesia, we call it "markisa". In Indonesia, pink passionfruits is more common than yellow passionfruits. In our garden, we have a type of yellow passionfruit which has a white seed and much sweeter and juicer. Anyways, our family usually just put passionfruits on a glass and nothing else. I don't know if there's a food or desert that uses passionfruit in Indonesia, but since it's very common on ASEAN countries, maybe there's one.

In the Philippines passion fruit are buyable snacks in the school canteen they just open the top of it and puts a straw just to slurp the fruits juices (including the seeds) I just commented this cause I usually buy it in our school....schools from Mindanao☺

You can make chutney with passion fruit and have it with a warm plate of white rice. You'll love it. Throw a cup of grated coconut with couple of chilies (adjust it to your spice preference, as you aren't a huge fan if spice) into a blender. Next purely depends on your taste preference. If you like a bit of sweet in your spicy-savoury foods, I would recommend, passionfruit that's less on the tangy side and leans more towards the sweet side. Or if you prefer tanginess, depending on how tangy you prefer, add passionfruit and blend them together. Don't add water, it has to be dry.

Here in South Africa we call it granadilla but it’s darker in color

It's also nice to mix into icing for cakes and slices!

In Malaysia we call them markisa supposedly but it's not commonly said. It's great as juice. I had mango passionfruit smoothie with grass jelly and it tasted so good.

We call them “markisa” here in Malaysia. I first tried it in Cambodia and fell in love ever since. They have juice stall and can order as smoothies too. If I have bunch of them, I normally make juice, cordial or ice cream 😋

It'd probably be really good as a sauce for meat to substitute for citrus. Like orange chicken but instead with passion fruit. Citrus type fruit on meat is always something I really enjoy so that's why I jump to that first

Passion fruit are pretty common in Australia. You can often find vines randomly growing on the side of roads. In my family, when we have a good year for passion fruits we like to make passion fruit butter. We also make lemon butter on occasion.☺️

In India we we add passion fruit in our mixture jar add sugar and water blend it and then strain it put ice in it and trust me it's the best drink every 💯

I love the passionfruit butter mochi you can find around Hawaii. I had never had anything like it, and I came home with a big bushel of lilikoi butter to make them myself. Haha

yes lilikoi is also eaten as passion fruit with sugar which makes the sourness of the fruit sweet

I don’t have passion fruit juice often or the fruit but I did find it a bit uneasy whenever I see the actual insides getting extracted. It just looks kind of weird? But I’ve had fusion passion fruit with other juices before. I might try it if I was able to have just the pulp & not the seeds on things.
