I must have two of the older version of the PH-200. The batteries in both our units consist of (3) button batteries stacked side by side horizontally within the battery compartment. I definitely wish we had the newer model that appears to use (2) standard AAA batteries in a flashlight-like compartment. Much cheaper than buttons and much easier to replace.

Hello. Is it possible to use it for lab purposes on corrosive solutions that go as high as 11 pH or as low as 1 pH?
