You got a new subscriber 😊 Just wanted to check the process to handle below scenarios in QBO. Sorry, if you already shared below in any of your videos and I missed. 1. How to rectify the categorisation if done incorrectly 2. How to record deferred income and prepaid expenses (I know the accounting treatment, bot not sure if there is any functionality in QBO to handle this efficiently) Once again thank you so much for great video. I usually listen to videos on 1.5x speed, I was surprised because this one sounded completely normal instead of a little sped up, turns out it was indeed on 1.5x speed. Makes me wonder if he just speaks that slow, or slowed down the video for longer video length.

The balance sheet lists all the current assets, including Inventory and A/R under the Current Assets. How to classify the bank accounts under separate types in the balance sheet (Cash and cash equivalents - or Bank)? Please advise

Question, if I get the $15 plan but let’s say tax time rolls around and I need an accountant to go in and look at my books or if I need them to fix something can you do that with only having 1 user active? Or will I need the $30 plan to have someone checkout my books ?

QuickBooks Online supports both cash and accrual accounting methods. You can choose between them according to your business needs. If you want to use the accrual method, you can record income and expenses when you send the invoice or receive the bill. QuickBooks Online allows you to change your accounting method in the settings, and you can also customize individual reports to reflect the chosen accounting method.

Why would a company take a desktop version of a tool that works and turn it into a flaming pile of shit. Do other small businesses enjoy having to learn another password to log in to their accounting software?

... And what makes it worse is that they have stopped improving the desktop version but they keep increasing the price trying to force you to go online. They even reintroduce bugs that they had solved before. Just to make it more painful. I hate this company
