I think it’s important to be realistic here. It’s already rare that people will change at all. But if they do, it takes time to change. So unless you want to go back to the same thing you left, they’re probably just saying they’ve changed because they’re saying what they know you want to hear. Things might go well for a month. But it’ll go right back to the same old. Be careful what you wish for.

a human can change if he or she wants to save her family. i got 3 kids with my wife , and we are in the middle of a divorce. and now i am seeing my mistakes better. we live apart since 1 month she lives at her parents home with the kids. so now i made a list of my mistakes and how to make it better. so if she will give me a second chance then i will implement the new me. the mistakes I made wont happen again.

My Ex and I have gone through unwanted and unexpected breakup because one of my friends who was Covert Narcissist deliberately separated us from each other. Therefore, we broke up and No Contact for over three months now. I was really into him, we had wonderful times together. He’s high quality man, and I discipline myself to be a high quality woman. So my ex my love of my life is talking to me again. He removed the restraint order. We have been seeing each other for dinner at the apartment where we used to live together. And he continues to say that we're only friends but I know that he's attracted to me because he likes the scent of me and he misses me in the morning because we have breakfast in bed.
