If they made this video with my cat it would not have went so smoothly. As soon as my cat saw the collar the wrestling match began. After it was on he was fine.

I was surprised at how cooperative my cat was about my putting the Seresto collar on him. He's usually quite fussy about procedures like that. I was a nervous wreck because you really do have to be sure the Seresto collar fits properly before you lock it in. It's not easily readjusted. But my cat sat still and I was able to fit it on him in less than a minute. Bayer needs to improve the adjustability of the Seresto collar. I've gotten different answers from pet shops about whether or not it's adjustable after the initial fitting.

this collar is GREAT,,,cured my cat in 6 days,,,,grew hair back,,,,no more scappy skin ,,no more scratching,,,,gained all her weight back

Something in the collar burned right through the hair on my cat and caused a sore it wasn't pretty..also I noticed it isnt a breakaway, your cat could accidentally choke itself.

Remove collars come off with pressure to slide left or right off the 'white button' - is all on the under piece. The top piece still has closed buckle on it for mine, Or scissors work to cut collar off.

I wish these were visually appealing and honestly my cat’s don’t even keep on normal collars how can I get them to keep this on. They are both micro chipped at least but even still.

Me too my poor baby i put it on him 2 fingers in and it was fine for a while until it was caught on his mouth and luckly he let me take it off without fighting me

+Kevin Szafas 2/3 of my cats were very, very difficult to hold in one place to even attempt to take the collar off. and even the one that was cool with it it took me like 30 minutes to even loosen it a little.

VERY EASY TO LOOSEN , SLIP THE TIP OF A SMALL STRAIGHT SCREWDRIVER ,VERY SMALL ELECTRONICS TYPE BETWEEN THE COGGED UNDERSIDE OF THE COLLAR AND THE "BRIDGE THAT RUNS OVER THE TOP OF THE COLLAR THIS WILL DISENGAGE THE COGS AND THE COLLAR CAN EASILY BE REMOVED OR ADJUSTED , LOOK IT OVER YOU WILL SEE WHAT I AM DESCRIBING !

@@janebook294 Slow down... they couldn't even grasp the Directions for Use instructions let alone "cogs and screwdriver" you're talkin about. It's literally more simple than a waist belt. If they cant FIGURE IT OUT well then... "sorry kitty, go into the light! Trust me you're safer!"

You should tighten it if it's too lose. If your cats having problems with the collar take it off. They shouldn't be chewing on it.

It does work for fleas, buuut my cat almost got choked twice because of the collar! I had to cut it off otherwise it wouldn’t have come off

It's bad, deposit the collar in your trash can immediately and remove from your house and wash the cat.

Yes. Bayer says it works within 24 hours. I've seen some reviews saying it worked almost immediately.

An employee where I bought the Seresto collar told me to give my cat one Capstar tablet 24 hours before I plan to put the collar on. The Capstar starts to kill all fleas on the cat immediately, and it will continue to work for 24 hours. It does work. Put the Seresto collar on the cat the following day. Doing this means that you don't have to worry about how long it will take the Seresto to kick in. Capstar comes in packs of 6 tablets and costs about $40. You do not need a prescription for it. I get about 3 uses from the pack because the expiry date is far enough ahead. I change the Seresto collar every 6 months instead of waiting 8 months, per my vet's instructions.

Not sure how well this works. There is zero smell. Easy to put on. Costs a lot of money. Three weeks after wearing the collar my cat still scratches with back keg around his neck area just as he did before applying collar.

This collar will definitely not “breakaway.” It’s next to impossible for me to to put on and take off, woe the cat who needs to get out of it? That said, my cat has never had a tick, whilst I have had at least two.

Please don't use this collar on your dogs and cats, there have been so many reports of death caused by the seresto collar. Find a collar with natural ingredients like "Brerie" collars or make essential oil sprays at home.

I decided not to use these collars because my cat is indoor/outdoor and Seresto collars do not break-away(come off) if my cat gets her collar stuck in bush. Too many animals die because their collars get caught and they can't get out of it. Some end up strangling themselves trying to escape. I only use break-away collars because my cat has come home without her collar that broke away and set her free! Buy more than one!!!! Seresto you should know better! This should be only indoor pets👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

The ad for this says, "Will unjust if snagged." But my poor cat, Tiggers, had gotten it snagged and as he tried to untangle it got caught around his mouth and was choking him. As he was prying it off with his paws he accidentally fanged into his paws. Then as we were struggling to take off the collar as he was suffering it did not come off or snap ultimately as it says. Lucky we got it off with scissors and Tiggers is alright for the time being. Do not buy this collar! It is a hazard for cats and lies to you in the commercial. #AvoidSeresto

the same thing happened to my cat when she was a kitten but now she is an adult and we still get the collars for my cats, we just make sure it isnt too loose
