Thanks for that, new to this and your explanation was just what i needed. only took me 25 min and that included creating a second ewe account + the sharing from one to the other. Now on with all the other bits in my home. And sleep eventually. Lol

Hello Roberto, This video helped me a lot to get going with my sonoff's and get the functionality setup. How ever i'm really interested in how you got your Solar Inverter integrated and would like to chat a bit more about that, I'm extremely new to Home Assistant and the programing behind it and would like to get some pointers

Hi there, can you use the same dedicated sonoff device simultaneously via ewelink app as well? is the same sonoff device linked to sonoff cloud? can you control it from both the ewelink and home assistant server?

Una pregunta sobre los Sonoff: cuando pones los diveces en Home Assistant de esta forma, están todavía conectados a la "nube" (Ewelink)? o quedan independientemente conectados con el Home Assistant a tu red local? Hello, I have a question if we do not have internet in the room but we have wifi all sonoff devices will switch to this LAN mode - in this regard what happens to the devices in the home assistant? Are they disappearing? What happens to scenes if the devices we set up in the home assistant have no connection to the ewelink cloud? ------ My question is related to the fact that I want to do automation that is local and if by chance there is no internet so that the scenes are not interrupted/disappearing. Is this a solution using home assistance this way? Thanks in advance!

How can I display the „consumptions“ of the POW switches in HA. The data’s are visible in the Attributes of the Developer Tools. But how to bring them in a CARD ?

Hello. Great video. I did everything step by step, but when I set the mode to Local, the Ewelink app on my phone with mobile internet can still operate the swithes. Can you please verify?

Boas Ricardo! English or portuguese, your choice ;) I would like to have home assistant's connection to sonoff devices totally off the cloud. I know it works but I want to minimize the risk of the cloud account being hacked, how can i block on a router or firewall so nobody can control anything using the app and locally everything still works? Or of possible add devices on home assistant without ewelink?

Hi Roberto, Very nice video. I believe it still uses the Sonoff cloud and if the web is down nothing will work. is this correct?

Does this method works on latest version of HA? After update to 0.115.x it doesn't work anymore. Sonoff itself is fine, works via Ewelink app.

it should work for all sonoff switches that use the ewelink app. if it doesn't use it, this won't work.

Home assistant does not allow you to add sonoff devices to areas. It says there is no unique id for the device. Have you experienced this ?

my household load is under 3kw, can I use one sonoff pow 2 in the distribution box to measure my household load? , I also use solar power to run all load, which is also 3.2kw

Don't think so, think it works in the same way as the app, hence the need for a second account with ewelink,but there is a second way of doing this if you need it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etmEpLKd17e1YZ8.html
