To use the SUPPLY mode you need to download the app. The CS ONE needs to be connected to the recommended charge point with the longer cable clamp to the positive connection and the shorter cable clamp to the negative. When that is done - start the APP choose SUPPLY, read information, act accordingly and press start. The CS ONE will give you up to 8A in Supply. Best regards CTEK Support

Hi. Yes, very different. We have taken our 8 step charge algorithm into the future with the CS ONE. It is totally adaptive and will check with the battery how it reacts during charging and adapt accordingly. This makes it possible to connect the CS ONE to a 3Ah battery and a 180Ah battery without any settings and the 3Ah battery will be charged with 2A and the 180Ah with 8A. It will also by it self detect if the battery is a Lithium (LiFePO4) or a Lead Acid and create a special charge algorithm for that exact battery - and then you have the 2 black, polarity free clamps!. Hi, there is a CS CONNECT ADAPTOR CABLE which makes it possible to use the CS ONE to the available accessories. And Yes, it will do all the things that the MXS 10 does - but a lot smarter. You need to download the app to have the WAKE UP, SUPPLY and RECOND functions. The CS ONE charges with max 8A compared with 10A for the MXS 10, but as it is more efficient I would say that it is almost as fast as the MXS 10. I hope this helps, Best regards CTEK Support

Hi! As long as the cigarette/12V socket remains live even when the ignition is off, you can use the CS ONE together with the INDICATOR CIG PLUG to charge your car. However, you do need the CS CONNECT ADAPTER CABLE to pair the CS ONE with the INDICATOR CIG PLUG.

The charger will not specify the condition of the battery, but it will automatically adapt its charging to your battery, so that you don't have to change anything. If the battery condition is so bad that it can't receive or hold a charge, the CS ONE will give you an error message.

@@CTEKBatteryChargers har varit i kontakt med er och lösningen var ominstallation eller skaffa en Apple. Har Android tänker inte köpa en ny telefon. Ominstallation är inte säkert att den kommer att fungera. Kommer att returnera de två laddare som jag köpte. Finner inte att de fyller det som var utlovat. Finner det ytterst överarbetat med app för fasta funktioner. Förstår app vid uppdatering, loggar etc. Kommer troligtvis att köpa nästa modell som ni tar fram där det finns en mindre hunger efter designpriser och mer mål mot god och genomtänkt funktion. Hej. Ja, CS ONE är verkligen den mest lättanvända laddaren man kan tänka sig! Det spelar ingen roll vilken typ av batteri du har - Laddaren kommer att anpassa laddningen till det batteri den är ansluten till. Vi har också satt på två svarta klämmor, så att man inte behöver bry sig om vilken klämma som ska sitta vart. Sätt en av klämmorna på batteriets pluspol och den andra på bilens chassi, eller rekommenderade laddpunter, så kommer laddaren starta Vill man inte använda appen, så går det alldeles utmärkt ändå. Är man inte bekväm med att ladda kommer man troligen inte att använda de funktioner som finns i appen (RECOND, WAKE UP, SUPPLY). Jag tror inte det kommer uppdateringar särskilt ofta, och skulle det komma en, som du inte laddar ner, då kommer din laddare att fortsätta fungera precis som innan. Recond is hard to tell since a big battery in need of a recond will behave in a similar way of a small battery that's not in need of a recond and could therefor damage the battery. Hi! Yes, it can charge both lead-acid and LiFePO4 12V batteries and adapts automatically, so that you don't have to choose any modes or settings. And yes, it is completely sealed without any external fans.

Hi. The CS FREE is a charger that can be charged up at home, brought to the car and charge the battery. The internal battery is 20A so it will not be enough to connect once, if the battery is very drained. You might need to recharge the CS FREE two or three times before fully charged, after that it can be connected to take care of the parasitic loads. Again it will only work for as long as there is power left in the internal battery in the CS FREE. But it is a whole lot better than your option today. If you want the power from the CS FREE last longer you can have another car battery connected to the CS FREE to take power from. It is a lot easier to carry home a smaller stand alone battery than to disconnect the battery within the vehicle to bring home for charging. @@CTEKBatteryChargers Got a little confused with your reply - are you suggesting I get another car battery to keep at home to connect CS FREE to - I am gutted I had 3 or 4 car batteries that I thought was no good so took them to recyling at local tip but now I see your tech can bring back to life just maybe at least 1 might have been viable if not more - especially as some was not that old. Oh well, live and learn.

@@bluelionman I don't know where you bought the carry case, or what type of case you bought, so it is not easy to comment on the price. Regarding CS FREE working as an adaptive jump booster - It will take about 15 minutes to get the vehicle started. It is not as fast as a jump starter - but it is totally electronic safe. @@bluelionman Hi, sorry for the confusion. No The suggestion is that you take that old battery (if you have one) fully charge it with the CS FREE at home. Then bring the fully charged extra battery and the CS FREE to your car. That will prolong the time the CS FREE can charge the battery mounted in the vehicle. On behalf of everybody here at CTEK, I would like to apologize for the issues that you are experiencing with your CS One. Unfortunately, we have discovered a few bugs in the CTEK App that are affecting the way in which some of the data is reported - this is why you are experiencing the issue that you have reported to us. Our teams are working around the clock to get it resolved. Most important is that the phone is within range of the charger and that the Bluetooth and WI-FI signal is good. @@CTEKBatteryChargers I'm using quite a modern phone, Samsung 10 5G, I've tried everything other than a new phone, it was always connected, just wouldn't update & now, won't show me different options. Getting a new phone would cost even more than the charger & no guarantee it would be any different.

Within the Android 13 update, changes have been made to the new BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) stack vs the previous versions for manufacturers like Samsung, One Plus, etc who now must implement the new stack in their phones. This has caused several problems for companies like us with Bluetooth dependency. Additionally, NRF and other 3rd party Bluetooth apps are experiencing the same/similar issues connecting on Android 13. Unfortunately, reproducibility of the issue is sporadic, with far too many permutations of phones and manufacturers. Google have released updates, however there is no market indication that this has resolved the issues, for which the onus still lays with the individual manufacturers. It is also noted that Google’s Operating System update has been released as a patch that remedies for some manufactures on some OS versions, and not for others. We want to assure you that our team, along with Android and Google are actively working on finding a solution, which we are hoping will include the patches to fix the issues in Android 14. In the meantime, we kindly ask you to stay tuned for future firmware and patch updates for your phone. Please however, contact us at support@ctek.com where we will help try to troubleshoot the issues you are experiencing.

I agree. I have to get my phone out and get it all dirty, take gloves off, find the app, do some pairing business to do a task that takes 2 seconds with the button on a competitors product? I bet the app will be discontinued in a few years anyway leaving you with a useless charger.

@@sj65535 Hi. Good thing that the charger works perfectly without app. The first charger in the world where you don't have to choose what battery type or what size of battery you have. The charger will find out and create a charge algorithm for the battery connected. Lead Acid or Lithium, from 3Ah up to 180. You don't even have to bother to connect the clamps a certain way to the battery, it will work either way. So I would say this is a fantastic charger, even if it is used without the app. Best regards CTEK Support

Stick with the single button versions. I had the mxs5.0 for 10 years without a problem until I damaged it by leaving it connected to a battery. Upgraded to this and deeply regret it. App is shite and won't connect to android phone, tho managed to connect to ipad, but all that let's me do is rename the device but gives me no opportune. So I'm unable to use the recon function, my most used function on the mxs5.0. Stick with leds and a button select, and not this waste of money!

Hi. Sometimes the gap between the outlet and the battery is longer than what the charger can provides, then you have to prolong the cables. Best way is to prolong from mains and connect the charger into an extension cord. If that is not possible you can use t. extension cable. If you uses more than one extension cable there will be a voltage drop and the battery risk end up undercharged. To use the Extensioncable together with the CS ONE you also need the adaptor cable as the connections differs between the CS ONE and our other chargers. I hope this helps. Best regards CTEK Support

@@CTEKBatteryChargers have contacted them and the app has problems with android phones. It works better with Apple not so good with android. They do not know what is the problem. So even if it is magical at charging, it is still just a charger. When nothing else works.
