I met Steve at a quilt/crafter show yesterday. I told him about the non-profit I lead and he gave me a seam guide to try out! Such a kind person!

BRAVO, Sue. Thank you!!! Your explanation about how to use the Ideal Seam Gauge and Guides is the best I have seen. I've had these products for years but have not used them because I did not fully understand how to. I plan to use them now. Huge smile!

Thanks for the video, I bought this seam guide ages ago at a quilt show. I came upon it in a drawer could figure out how to use it and now I'm all set.

Hi Sue, I have several different types of turners, but this is the first time I have seen this one. I will have to look for this turner in JoAnns the next time I am there. You always do such a great job when describing and showing your audience how to use the notion you review in a variety of ways. Thanks for another great review.

Very clear instructions, well done! I recently purchased the 10 & 15” ones but have not tested them out yet. 15” ones are supposed to work well for long strips! You should demo those as well. Thanks!

Glad to hear it was helpful. Please Consider subscribing to my KZfaq channel for more visual learning tutorials. I am exactly like you though, I can read the instructions until I’m blue in the face but if there is a picture or a video I will do much better.

Hi! Thank you for this video, it was so helpful! I have a question, would you use a scant 1/4 for a face mask?
@SookieSews
@SookieSews 3 жыл бұрын
Glad it helped. If the face mask pattern called for a 1/4” you could if the fabric was thick, otherwise I’d use the 1/4”.

I bought this and it gives me trouble. The fabric slips underneath, not a tight seal on the bed of the machine. It would be so much better if it were clear. I went back to a piece of masking tape.

That's really odd....it has never done that for me. Did you firmly press down on it to make it stick securely or did you just lightly press it down?

My machine it covers my bobbin plate and I have a curved bottom so it’s useless for me. Wish I could use it. I do use the scant 1/4 with a piece of tape.
