Happened with us also when we wanted to go to Eiffel Tower from louvre museum, we were not able to get down from the metro on our intended stop, as some protest was going on there…..

Your information was very detailed but i would like to also mention that on some metro lines the doors do not open automatically. If you have to get in or out of metro you have to press the button on the centre of doors otherwise the door will not open and you will miss it .

Did you miss your stop by any chance , it happens my suggestion don’t follow those lights inside the metro train, rather pay attention to the station names when the train stops, our good old memories that time I had hard time figuring out the right metro and direction and in fact boarded the wrong train as well 😊

I would be landing at paris airport and taking high speed train to Zurich.. so the hotel should be accessible to both place, as I would be carrying laggage both side

Hi...you should find a place near Gare du Nord, central train station. we are assuming your train to Zurich will be from that station too. You can take train from airport to reach this station.

So I thought to stay in Paris & Switzerland (india - paris) and then fly to dallas from (paris / Switzerland).
