If you build your ring around AOE rolls when the electricity strikes you can do serious damage as well. I learned to embrace the electricity and make something really unique. 😃

Very cool concept and idea but with the strict timing it is sadly very hard to consistently keep the buff up in combat

this is the best gun in the game if used properly. It’s just hard to use. I’m able to get 4k DPS per burst and when you get it to max stacks and you get a hang of the reloading it melts. It just takes practice to get good with.

In a controlled environment maybe. In practice the fact that the stacks only hold for five seconds kills it.

cant imagine why i would want to play a minigame while trying to pay attention to my surrounding in apocalypse...it might be good damage at the range but ive yet to see anyone be ballzy enough to run it through apocalypse.

Honestly is the sweet spot was just a tiny bit bigger I could see this being usable. Currently the level of skill and muscle memory needed to use it mid combat is too high to justify using it. Really cool joke weapon though

You have to time it right. When you reload, there will be a small triangle that moves around the reticle. You have to click the reload button again when the white triangle aligns with the right spot on the reticle. Simply reloading doesn't do anything but reload, there's skill required.

You also need to keep chaining it relatively quickly or you will lose your stacks

With a dps build, like hunter as your main and challenger as your second archetype, damage rings and fragments and a fast use relic + charging the gun before you walk into boss fight then yes you can melt bosses. This is not good for fighting multiple enemies though because trying to time your reloads surrounded by enemies is not easy
