Thanks for the guide! Instructions were very unclear. It even says "plug and play" on the manual. Used this method to use an Xbox One controller on PS3. Same thing. Plug in a PS3 controller, then unplug, add the bluetooth adapter, pair, and you're set! Can't wait because I really hate PS controllers since I switched to Xbox when the 360 came out.

Works as per your video. Only problem is, you have to do this everytime to connect ps4 controller which is a pain in the ass.

I recently bought a dongle (both 5.1 and 4.0). I regret buying the upgraded one, but the 4.0 definitely works. I even tried it on my PS3 earlier. The only difference is, I simply had to press the PS button and it automatically syncs with the dongle. This definitely works though. Thanks for the help. 👌

Everyone the answer is yes this method still works 2020 but you do need a CSR 4.0 BLuetooth Dongle to use wirelessly
