Well, if you did not tolerate it well and had such a severe reaction, then you are probably reacting badly to an ingredient in the formulation. In that case, I would simply not use it anymore. Or, yes, giving your skin a break for a few days or a week and then trying it again on a smaller area to see how it goes is an option, especially if you are still keen to test it ;) It could certainly happen, as we all have individual skin tolerances.

@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial Thank you! I think trying it on a smaller space to see what happens is a good idea. At least I would know for sure but it wouldn’t be my whole face! It’s just frustrating when your trying to do something good for your skin & it still gets mad! Lol🤪

@@InspiredXReflections Yeah, but you never know if it will work until you try. If it doesn't, you might need to change the formulation. The Ordinary offers similar serums, but with different peptides.

Lastly, does the pure HA fit into this routine or should I just use it randomly throughout the day? You could use it before or after the peptide serum.

Hello Blanca, I think it is best to keep them separate since both works on your skin cells. But technically yes, they do not conflict.
