Yes sir, you are correct. For organic protection from fungus, use trichoderma viride. It is organic fungicide to treatment cocopeat.

To be sure if we keep the used coco peat for 2 hrs in fungicide will it be harmful

But 1 time Washing doesn't reduce it's tds below 200. My tap water tds is around 150ppm and I've to wash it like Crazy to get the cocopeat tds to 150ppm so i can use it as a grow bag medium.

use RO water, it generally has a TDS of around 50-75. BTW Where are you form ?
