Hi ! Thank you very much for your posting, i have the exact same machines and they are beast ! Your post helped me a lot to find the problem on my washing machine the lid switch was faulty. All the stores were close in my area on a Sunday so . . . Like you said, these machines are very tough ans i was able to open the lid switch and realize that the points that make the contact when you open the lid were very oxided and almost no contact was made to tranfer the 110v to the circuit and after a good cleaning with a sand paper the switch got back to life and we could proceed to the clothes washing on a Sunday morning whithout a service call ! I ordered a new switch because of the so many years of services but you saved me a lot of times to target the problem . . . thank's again Rick.
