Great Job there. Could you make a video about corners? Have tried many different methods but I'm not satisfied with them yet. Either it looks good for a short time or they just don't look good at all.

For me, a bit of cold stretch, a bit of heat to shrink it back down, then SLOWLY working it around. Start at the middle and work around. Look for a video where he did the corner of a hood. When I wrapped the halo on my Corvette, that's the method that worked for me.

Honestly the F sport bumper from 2013~2016 is the hardest bumper I ever wrapped. Edit: The IS350 in the video is the face lift version from 2017+

Awesome work. Curious at what you would charge, for just the front bumper to be wrapped. I wanna get an idea. Also how or can it be done over a ceramic coating? Thanks.

Hey Christian. I know this is an old video but I absolutely love your channel and essentially watched all of your videos. I just have one question regarding stretching into the vent area on both sides of the bumper. Would that not result in overstretch? Or would the stretch be okay since the surface area that the film adheres to is so large? Thank you!

The larger the area the better. Also measuring total stretch % is important

I have a question. I'm just getting into wrapping and will be attending a Avery class in Nov. and then a 3m after the first of the year. Until then I'm trying to figure a few things out and have a few questions. 1) does one vinyl show less glue lines than another? 2) how do you get rid of glue lines and or avoid them all together? 3) does matte wrap hide imperfections better?

Melvin Harris I can answer 1 and 2. I've used vivid and 3m vinyl, the vivid vinyl will not leave glue lines, it just is honestly impossible from my experience, but 3m is insane! It leaves glue lines like crazy. If you have a recessed area for example the door handle recess, you will have glue lines if you press the vinyl in from side to side, there's just no way to avoid it really, the only way I've found to reduce glue lines is to use larger passes, for example, if your doing a hood you might have horizontal and vertical glue lines from the squeegee, there's honestly no way to avoid it so do not use 3m unless they have a color you like! Avery is probably the best but I've never used it, so if you don't want glue lines DO NOT USE 3m!!!

+Melvin Harris 3m gloss films are brutal when it comes to glue lines. There isn't anything you can do about them. Avery will have some glue lines but not nearly as bad as 3m. Vvivid will have about 5% of the glue lines that Avery will have. Glue lines are unavoidable with certain films. Matte doesn't necessarily hide imperfections, the color you choose will be the deciding factor. Textured finishes such as carbon fiber and brushed metal will hide more imperfections

+BigJayDog g "that's the advantage to wrapping a bumper like this one" meaning there is no center or top portion to wrap so I can actually feed the vinyl back towards the top center and not worry about it bunching up because I can cut the rest away
