I wear a plastic splint it is very painful under my foot..very sore.. any brace causes other problems with the hips calf muscles ..the splints are usually make the shoe higher.. so one foot is higher

I suffered a right leg footdrop more than 35 years ago after a lower back (lumbar) spinal surgery. It has been with me since. I am now 83 years old so may I know how to buy the equipment to support the footdrop. I am residing in Singapore about 20,000 km from the US.

+Neally Diva I'm not sure what you are asking. Do you mean how long until he got rid of the drop foot? He did not. The Step-Smart brace does not cure drop foot. The Step-Smart brace provides the toe-up you need in order to walk with drop foot. While wearing the Step-Smart brace your gait is more normal as if you do not have drop foot, however, once you take the brace off you will still have drop foot. I hope this clarifies it! Thank you!
