This may seem like a weird video, but it is very helpful! Thank you so much for the videos that you make, such as this one and your crutch reviews! They are truly helping people!

I'm writing a story with a character with his leg amputated (I'm not sure where yet) & all of your videos are super useful. I don't want to be innacurate by speculating, but medical stuff is unhelpful & also I can't read anymore bc of adhd. These videos are descriptive, they have visuals, & they're involved with the everyday life of everyone with crutches, & the everyday life of my character. It is nice to learn from a disabled person rather than some unfeeling medical text

You finished your story ?

@@icecream3281 it was a collection of semi-cohesive short stories & I wanted to write more but I only finished like, two. I've moved on to other things tho

Had my left leg above knee amputated nearly 2 years ago. I have under the arm crutches I never use, however I have a prosthetic leg now. I need to use a walker when I go out and about with my prosthesis. I really want to get away from that walker, but for this 66 year old huy, it's been a slow process. I'm wondering if I get forearm crutches, I could use them to maybe make some progress towards independence from the walker? What say you?

I wanted to try the last one when i had my full leg in plaster but for some reason my mum didn't agree.

I have crutches because at certain times I can't walk on one of my legs, this IS easier on the second type of crutches, the old school crutches are harder because you have to lift your shoulders

I find it weird I enjoy these amputee videos of Josh's despite not ever having even known an amputee. :)

Personally, using both forearm crutches on the stairs is too dangerous, i always use one crutch and the railing and then hold the other crutch with the same hand as my other cruthch

God bless this woman. I went to car wash thats where the woman lives she is christian. i thought the car wash and the landraumant was sketchy when she came she started touching spots around my foot then she pulled then i heard a crack! She also heard that too. The next day i was able to walk by little by little. She recieves how much money you give her theres no price. I can't she such a savior in this world 😇

I would think it would be much harder for a girl as I think a guy might wear an amputation a bit like a badge of honour (see Josh's clip about 'did you lose your leg in Irag ?), whereas a pretty girl who becomes an amputee might think of herself as damaged goods and unattractive. Perhaps this doesn't make much sense and perhaps I am wrong but can you see what I am getting at ? I mean, does a pretty girl who loses a leg really undersatnd that, in some guys eyes, she becomes more desirable ?

I would certainly not go downstairs on crutches, the risk that an ambulance will pull up in front of your door to take you away is far too great. I am an elderly BKA and rather use a cane and my prosthesis to go up and down stairs.

Hey Josh ! Why don't you find a gorgeous girl amp to do some of your training videos with you ? Have you ever heard of Lakyn Campbell ? LAK, gorgeous, great personaility !! It must be so much harder for girl amps to face this new lifestyle as a one legger ....
