Hi! Unfortunately, while watching a video on KZfaq, after 5-10min the device returns automatically to the home screen, as a timeout behavior. So, you must touch the screen, once in a while, as you watch the video. So sad an annoying...

Great info - how can I loop a youtube video on the Echo Show 8? I know how to do so on my PC, but can't seem to locate the option on the Echo.

Can someone help me, as when I am watching KZfaq and if I pause the clip after a certain mins it will automatically go back to amazon menu .. can I somehow keep it on always without it going back to amazon menu

Can I ask it to look up a video on KZfaq with just my voice? So say "Alexa show me a video by Henry" and have it pop up? Or do I have to manually search and scroll through everything?

I have an Uncle in a nursing home who had a stroke and can't use his arms or really speak. Can I control this remotely from my home while he's in the nursing home so I can play him videos via KZfaq?

I don't understand all of these people making these waste of time videos like this one that say people are asking if you can do these things how do they know the echo show 8 exist unless they know you can watch KZfaq and Netflix videos on it look at the box start trying to operate the thing without KZfaq and Netflix telling you that they exist and that that's what the device is for it doesn't do a whole lot else but watch videos and maybe make a phone call or some other pointless things like that that only other people that want to play with an echo or something like that want to do but nobody really needs to make a phone call that really needs to talk to you about really actual important information is going to want to make a video call on your phone or their computer And of course it does peripheral things that all electronics do like alarms music and more pointlessly communicating with each other similar devices. The device can access Amazon and only Amazon voice assistant whereas you already have a cell phone in your pocket that will access Amazon's voice assistant plus almost any other voice assistant where the echo is very limited in that respect And then it can give you voice control to your smart devices but so can your phone and then all of the other features are just the same feature over and over again trivia trivia trivia voice games questions and answers silly puns and jokes but as far as really how to watch Netflix and how to watch KZfaq and how to use this for the video purpose that it limitedly does I don't see much in the way of any kind of decent instructions here that give us any ability beyond what we can figure out when we open the box and what it tells us all by itself verbally over and over and over that it does so I'm really disappointed in these instructions that they don't tell me anything like how to control streaming from my handheld to my echo show and what those different controls are and what those limits to those controls are meaning what are the different choices of controls I have for any given action to control KZfaq or Netflix or any of the other video services that it does not just KZfaq and Netflix. where any useful instructions like how to save things to playlist other than the watch later playlist. how do you get the echo show 8 not to keep showing you the same videos that you've already been shown before or even watched before, but it still keeps recommending this same videos over and over and over, often with no new recommendations as if you've seen every video you KZfaq has to offer. as far as videos are really anything else I just don't see that the echo show 8 is anywhere near anywhere near as good as a tablet hooked to a good sounding speaker because compared to each other the echo show aid is just super super limited so I'm scouring the internet trying to find some instructions that will tell me how to use it otherwise it's just a box and you tell it to play KZfaq videos and Netflix and it gets it right I guess most of the time if you're specific. (within its limits)
