Yes, I like black, white, and black and white. I also like jewel tones. Being a winter, “softer” tones just wash me out and make my skin look sallow.

Lovely as always you really know your stuff! I watch you with a notebook and camera. Could you create some looks for over 70? I am age 82 but people often think I am 67 or so. I can't wear heels, prefer comfortable clothes that still look smart. I live next to Newport Beach, California so the look here is relaxed, nautical, resort, beach type. Love you and your channel!

I'm a cool toned person so I opt for bright white and never ivory. I love mixing white with navy or black. Outfit #3 is my favorite. You look lovely in it and I'm going to replicate that one for myself.

Love this video and your enthusiasm as usual! I’m not a skirt or sleeveless top person anymore but loved the black rushed top and silk skirt. Confused as to what undergarment to wear underneath a silk skirt which I think can show every bump and lump🥹. Your looking happy and fashion as always. The white boho blouse is perfect for me. Covers the arms and I’m an old hippie😘

Glad you did this video! I just got some Fly London black sandals while I was away and I have a beautiful black and white dress I bought in Italy several years ago. With my blazer, it will be wow! I finally got some white jeans! I liked that print one from River Island, I can stick a pin in the front!

I love all your looks, and especially number three. Gorgeous! I definitely love black and white outfits and get many compliments when I wear a white faux fur or jean jacket. When I wear black/dark tops I do prefer to wear my pearl earrings up by my face because it's true it can be a bit draining. I love your videos!! xoxo

great video , not really a fan of silk skirts because i suffer alot from static , but love the white jeans with buttons on , & that lovely marble top from RI , but would probably wear a little clip near the top lol , but i do like the idea of wearing a blue jacket rather than black one with being very pale skinned .

You only have one survival outfit to pack,( on a deserted island). Show me, that perfect all weather survival, good look, nasty weather proof.. look. Which is what most in Canada might have to deal with. Love ya

I just got the Lily Silk ivory skirt, I like it a lot, I just wish it had an elasticized waistband. The fit is fine, I just like a waistband that will tighten up when I stand so it doesn’t droop and loosen a bit when I sit.

Hi Kimberly. That's great. You will look wonderful in it. Yes, I do agree with you about an elasticated waist on a silk skirt. The one I am wearing in the video did have this, actually, which was good. However, it wasn't silk so it didn't flow as beautifully as yours. XX

Black and white means summer to me Here in Indiana - the home of the Indianapolis 500 race, everyone wears black and white Especially on memorial weekend ( think checkered flag at the end of a race )

Great looks. I’m especially a fan of white jeans with a black (or navy) top, maybe because I have slim hips and legs. I don’t have to worry about having to “visually slim” that area. Actually, my figure is quite similar to yours, that’s one reason I like your styling so much, I know if an outfit looks good on you, it probably will on me, too. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for suggesting River Island. I love the looks you presented and they gave me really good ideas. I bought a black satin slip skirt last year from Chicos, but this year Banana Republic has lovely mid and mini-length slip skirts. I have bought from both BR and their Outlet store. I have noted that the clothing from BR Outlet 8 years ago was in very good condition when I donated and wearable without worn patches or much pilling. The good quality did surprise me, especially from BR Outlet. I have also shopped for many years at White House Black Market and their clothes will last a very long time. Another good find for embroidered white cotton shirts this year is Talbots.

Hi Janet. Yes, I think you can wear your black blazer with indigo jeans. Obviously, I can't see what it looks like, but it's very chic to wear black with dark blue, so I wouldn't worry. XX
