I would love a cowboy boot video. As a Texan, I love the "black tie cowboy" look as we call it. It usually isnt actually black tie but it is the name for a custom boot + suit combo out here. Some also call it "high class cowboy" i have 2 suit + boot combos for that look and so does my brother lol

Is it okay to wear button boots as part of office wear comprising of a formal shirt and trousers only? Suits are not a daily office wear for me, otherwise it is a usual office formal wear set up - white / blue / baby pink shirts with conservative shades of trousers.

Great video I know it’s old but I would like to address some things. 1st. There are many many many styles and colours of work boots. They don’t just work with denim they work with a lot of combinations. 2nd the moc toe. I’ve been a laborer for over 13 years, I’ve work many moc toes that have been able to hold up great to the construction trades. Just kinda bothered me when you said they weren’t for the functionality

I just recently bought a brown pair of the Captain boots from Thursday Boots (thursdayboots.com/products/mens-brown-captain). Even though i love wearing these boots with a pair of dark washed denim, I was wondering if you think that you could wear these boots with some chinos, because they are kind of a mix between casual work boots and more formal boots? And if so, which colors of chino pants would you recommend to wear with these boots? Thank you!

Sven, sometimes I do not understand you. On the one hand you strongly argue against using a tie-keeper already provided on the garment to keep the two ends of the tie from going higgledy-piggledy, even if it is only the manufacturer's label, and here you are arguing with equal fervor for a style of boot which requires a special tool to fasten the buttons - which *no one* ordinarily keep in their pockets.

One of the most horrific thing I see usually, is boots that are laced VERY lose. You are suppose to tighten the boot with the laces! Just insanely stupid.
